On Monday Huhne and Vicky Pryce, to whom he was married for 26 years, will spend a final afternoon together in the dock at Southwark Crown Court for sentencing. Both are likely to be sent to jail. Huhne will take the opportunity to try to get in the last word. In mitigation, if all goes according to plan, he will accuse Pryce of lying over her claims – made during her trial – that he forced her to have one abortion and tried to make her have another.

What’s the expression about a woman scorned. Both seemingly likely to go to jail. He because he was low enough to lie rather than admit to an error and she because she was vengeous. Both deserve it in my opinion.

Britain has a lot of problems with getting good people into politics for that last 20 years, too self serving than serving.

Just trying to understand lib logic — If outlawing specific guns, incandescent lightbulbs, big-gulps, etc, etc is all about protecting the children, exactly how does forcing your wife to have an abortion protect ‘the children’?

  3. Justa Joe says:

The child had as right to be wanted so he killed it. Problem solved.

I’m guessing he didn’t do it for Gaia, making him an uber hypocrite.

He was protecting the child from himself! I would feel sorry for any child produced by members of the Chicken Little Brigade!

    • miked1947 says:

Maybe sterilization should be mandatory for becoming a member of the Chicken Little Brigade and any children they have should be removed from their custody due to Child abuse they will suffer listening to their parents clucking about the Sky Falling.

All together now: one, two, three . . . Malthusians!

Someone told him that there’s a good chance the baby would be born with a conservative mind…

    Sounds about right

In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man who is now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote

Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not
The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food
Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise
People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.
A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.

Be careful what you wish for – this may be a lot closer than you might think.
