Last summer, the center of the Greenland ice sheet rose barely above freezing for a couple of hours. This caused a massive meltdown which was widely touted by the press, and resulted in several snowflakes suffering rounded edges.
With temperatures up above -35C today, the grounds crew has begun repairs.

I’ll bet they’re getting ready to put in wind turbines and solar panels to provide for all their energy needs.
Looks like the bunkers are raked and the fairways are almost mowed. yippie! .. getting my tee time now!

I’ll bet the course maintenance guys have ripped out my ball marker on that fairway … I didn’t get chance to hole out on the 18th last season … got a coupon from the head professional to come back and finish my round as it’s holding up the comp results.
On vacation next week, and instead of sending my clubs onto Winnipeg, i made the mistake of sending them to Phoenix of all places!!

Given super duper exponential warming, the Greenland Country Club should be able to host a major championship by the year 2075.
