Department Of Health : 30% Probability That Brits Are Imagining The Cold Weather

Health alert for elderly as snow forecast

The NHS has called on the public to check on elderly neighbours and eat at least one hot meal a day as more snow is forecast to fall.

There is a “significant health risk” across the North of the country, leading the Department of Health and the Met Office to warn healthcare providers and the public to be prepared. “This weather could increase the health risks to vulnerable patients and disrupt the delivery of services,” forecasters say. “Prolonged periods of cold weather can be dangerous, especially for the very young, very old or those with chronic diseases.”

There is a 70 per cent probability of severe cold weather and icy conditions, the Department of Health said.

I grant that I might imagine slightly colder weather as I get older, due to body changes.

However, there were many days this year where the official low was 35 to 40 degrees, yet I had to scrape thick white solid water off of the windshield.

Climate change increases the thickness and frequency of solid water on windshields

Every idiot knows that snow is at least as consistent with a warming planet as no snow. You know, heat produces more snow, like in Miami during July when it always snows.

And again The Mail online has the wintry weather story. Only this paper and the Telegraph seems to want what is really happening.
