178:1 Ratio Of Record Lows To Record Highs

How do you get a record low ~80 miles away from a record high?
It is not uncommon to get a record high right before a cold front arrives.
RoxShox:
How do they get temperatures 10 F difference 10 miles from each other?
Hint: It is called regional Weather and “Micro Climates”!
That was in the Desert Southwest and that great of a swing in temperatures is common in the desert, Low Humidity.
Can you please show a link so that we can run our own reports, such as changing the number of days? (Not sure what variables they allow, if any. But uncertain of the site used.)
The link is in the post
I would like to see record lows to highs for a 24 hour period. That would suggest how rapidly things could change in a given region.
Public Service Announcement > Based on the recent sequester, remaining GISS bare-bone team members are working diligently during this difficult time to reset the earth’s thermostat as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience while we adjust the numbers.
