Sea levels have been rising since the end of the Younger Dryas glaciation. But we’re now approaching the end of the current interglacial period (interglacials last an average of 11,500 years). As temperatures start to decline and the next glaciation begins, sea levels will decline.
The concocted idea that man-made CO2 is causing the polar and Greenland ice caps to melt ranks alongside the Greek theory of Phlogiston. Unfortunately, the world is full of gullible rubes (some called “scientists”) who actually believe mankind is capable of changing the earth’s climate. Despite evidence to the contrary, they continue to believe that a trace atmospheric gas can overwhelm the impact of that great yellow ball in the sky.

The “Tipping” Point happened about 5,000 years ago. We are only waiting for temperatures to decrease below the point where sea level starts to lower again with increased glaciation. 🙂 That may well be happening as we speak, but our Brilliant scientists have distorted reality until we do not know.
Nice bit of cherry-picking Steve. You should have plotted another 2-3 decades onto that graph. People start to shrink when they get older. I’m late 60s and have lost about 1.5 inches in height from my maximum at 6 foot even though no skeletal problems. Height is sorta like temperature and sea level, it varies in both directions given sufficient time.
