NOAA’s program of making up temperatures for stations which don’t report in a given month, has produced a 14F/century divergence between the fake temperatures and the actual measured ones in Illinois.
Climate experts and several prominent skeptics agree that the NOAA methodology is first rate science.
That is enough to fry an egg. At this rate, we will be freezing to death in record heat.
Sure gives the impression that this is purposeful and not just incompetence.

What I find interesting is that non of the Luke Warmers are doing this for themselves to try and understand what is going on, whereas plenty of other sceptics are doing so, perhaps they don’t want to know as it will against their “Faith”.
I have looked at a few stations and it does not seem to be just about cooling the past, it is also about flattening out the values to make it look more like the Hockey Stick.
I found one station, without looking very hard with Estimated data from 1894 to 1940 where no records previously existed as well as other stations where Estimated values have been used for 30 years where there are actual values.
Many folks just flat out think all the CO2 we spill into the Air … from Cars, buses, heating systems, and Power Plants is pollution… that its altering the current Atmospheric balance.. thus it MUST be bad…
Problem is .. more CO2 doesn’t trap more heat above 200ppm… and the Environment benefits from more CO2 “feeding” in many ways.. it can be considered plant food.
I’ve argued with a friend about this .. and despite the lack of warming, and the real possibility that more CO2 can actually be good.. he refuses to even acknowledge the possibility that its anything but pollution… that we are poisioning the earth, and Temps will get hotter. Its sad, this isn’t science, some people just hate progress and more energy usage.. we agreed that population is a problem and that fossil fuels should be conserved more for future generations.

If the IRS did all those things, why would anyone have a hard time believe an org like NOAA, being run by a certified enviro activist would have any integrity? Since the prez is big on agw, Jane has to support that agenda.
