Phil has changed the data at a rate of 0.8 degrees per century, equal to the rate they claim the earth has warmed.

Care to opine a defence? Care to correct our host’s claims or defend your supposedly legitimate statistical corner? Care to offer up justification for being publicly busted as an (allegedly) cheating, climate-data rigging, public-money swallowing government-deceiving pseudo-scientific fraud? Phil, Phil….are you there, Phil?
I still remember Jones contemplated suicide when his email were made public. That is the mindset of either an insane man or a fraud who thinks he has been caught, or both.
Fraud
He was well aware he had been breaking the FOIA laws and I would not be surprised to find the UK also has laws about misuse of public funds. If his political pals had not covered his ass and justice had prevailed he might still be sitting in jail.
Innocent people (real men anyway) do not cower when wrongly accused, they meet it head on and with vigor. Phil Jones is a limp wristed fraud.
I know how this ends. When the satellites can no longer be ignored, they won’t remove the previous adjustments – they’ll suddenly discover that UHI is actually “much larger than we had imagined” and will add a post hoc 3-4 degree adjustment to the present. Then, hey presto, land temps show no trend, just like the satellites.
