I remember this well. I had returned to college after a 4 year stint in the Coast Guard and the academic community was all over the coming Ice Age. We had some pretty brutal winters in Northern Illinois back then which served up proof of theory for those living in the moment. I love global warming and fear a return to those brutal winters which the solar cycle presages.
