National Geographic wants you to live a short miserable life in the dark. They want you dead, and are lying to you about the climate and energy to get you to go voluntarily.
Lets load them all up on their wind/solar powered airplanes, and send them overseas.

The National Geographic still had some credibility 10-12 years ago when it published “The Stormy Star“ as its feature news story. The validity of that description of the Sun was the basis of a paper I presented at the 2004 meeting of nuclear astrophysicists in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Of course the paper was excluded from the Proceedings because it was an embarrassment to the nuclear physicists who squandered huge suns of government funds trying to find conditions in the laboratory where He fusion would generate the ratio of O-16/C-12 = 2 at the top of the solar photosphere. Their experiments had instead yielded values of O-16/C-12 ~ 10, which is in fact the value of that ratio in the solar interior after correcting for 9-stages of mass fraction which selectively enrich lighter atoms over heavier atoms in their upward journey from the solar core to the top of the solar photosphere.

Nat Geo is about as useless as the National Midnight Star type RAGS some pick up on their way out of the supermarket – shameful and embarrassing that they claim to be a major science publication – but then again, for a long time, even SA, which I had a subscription too until they had a front page tab almost every month about the horrors of c02, when I canceled I wrote on the card I don’t do voodoo science anymore. Much of their content started to suck anyway, with parallel universes and unicorns….
A large proportion of the world’s population are already living without all those goodies.

Have been flying paragliders for years. Souring is the ultimate experience. amazing how much energy can exist in the atmosphere on a low humidity blue thermal day. It is all about lapse rates or cold air coming in a cold front.
What exactly is a “climate disaster”? Is it anything like a wardrobe malfunction, the Emperor’s New Clothes?
