Global warming is about trying to scare the stupid 47% of the population, otherwise known as Democrats. They use tampered, cherry picked, maps and graphs like Heidi Cullen’s map below, with red colors intended to scare frozen people into believing they are burning up.

The actual underlying data shows that US maximum temperatures peaked in the 1930’s, and have been generally declining ever since.
The frequency of hot days has plummeted in the US
The area of the US seeing hot weather has plummeted in the US.
The vast majority of maximum temperature records in the US were set before 1940.
The data doesn’t back up any of the government’s lies, so they simply alter it. Heidi Cullen claims that Michigan is the second fastest warming state.
In fact, there has been zero warming in Michigan over the past century, with recent years among their coldest.
There is no indication that the US is getting hotter, or will get hotter in the future. But there is a massive industry built up around lying to people about this topic.

Thanks as always. I wish I could be “having fun” as you are. I find your excellent research and posting of pertinent history, very useful comparative graphs, etc. not so “fun”! It is very depressing information, in fact; and the ignorance, fraudulent output of so many warmest “scientists” today sickens me. However, the way the climate continues to do as it always has is a wonderful counterpoint. Hating cold (a lifetime lived in mellow climes), I look forward to this winter and pray for December blizzards in Paris. Ren’s recent posts and some others about early snows give me

I am hoping the Paris-ites get a taste of the blizzards Italy got last year.
100.8 inches of snow fell in just 18 hours in Capracotta, Italy. (Boston had 108.6 inches of snow during the entire season also a record.)
