Shame that the leftist want to get rid of the wetlands. There are not many wetlands in the world with environmental degradation most threatening to the wetlands than any other ecosystem. Leftists sure hate birds. Probably cause birds can get away from leftists easiy.
Leftists calling themselves protectors of the environment yet they want to destroy the wetlands between Boulder and Denver.
    SHAME.

The BBC’s anti-countryside traditions, anti-farming, anti-chem, anti-meat, climate change/diversity propaganda mouthpiece ‘Countryfile’ (that started out as a farmers’ news magazine back in the day) said that wetlands were important in arresting wildfires, and that the recent UK Moorland wildfires were made worse because of climate change and because all the nasty grouse shooting estates had drained the boggy bits. It’s brilliant you see, get to promote the climate change nonsense, and start a campaign to blame/ban yet another countryside dispute the left find ‘disgusting’. Anyway, when Colorado goes up in flames again, at least you can tell the politicians that it’s all their own fault.

Off topic but since Drudge and the MSM appear amazed by the fires in CA, I looked at the historic data. The current Carr Fire in Shasta County recently grew to 90,000 Acres in Northern CA…so how much is that and is it getting worse over the years?

CalFire has data back to the 1930s. Their data does not include Federal land, although they do have data from 1987 that includes Federal. In General, the grand total trends from 87-2017 are similar to what we see for CalFire only (only we don’t see the 1930s-1940s there). The largest year in that data set is 2008 when 1,600,000 Acres burned in CA wildfires.

In 1934 760,000 Acres burned in CA in Cal Fire areas. So the current Carr Fire is 1/18th that of 2008 total CA, and ~1/8th that of Cal Fire regions in 1934…as Drudge calls it “Flames of Fury”.

Looking at trends, from 1934 to 1945, over 12 years, there were 7 years roughly 50% or more than 1934. Recently, only 4 such big fire years have occurred in a 15 year span. The largest most recent big year was 2008 when roughly 530,000 acres burned (CalFire areas)…In the 30s and 40s there were FOUR years larger than 2007.

I have not correlated this to CA precipitation, but 2016 was a record rain year in the Carr Fire area…In CA fire years often follow big rain years and this seems to be the case with 2017 and 18 so far. The Carr Fire BTW was started by a vehicle according to CalFire reports.

      Hush!
The shithead leftists will claim global warming causes anger by overheating people’s brains. Hence, people create arsons due to global warming induced anger.

Why are you assuming there are only 2 genders, when the NY Times says there are at least 58?
