If You Like Your Doctor, You Can Keep Your Doctor

Yep! Even my doctor (a few years younger than me) has indicated he may “retire” early. I do not blame him.
I think it’s called “going Galt.”
Yep. See.
mds-fed-up
And so it begins…
It all depends on your definition of “keep”. Over here in Teutonia, one can savour the delights of statist “health” care, and prognosticate what your already messy system will become. Emigrate, before your wall comes down. When you’re sitting in the US version of Magadan, it will be too late. Either get out, or memorise useful things like rat-herding, and gruel recipes from toejam. On the bright side, console yourselves with the thought that as soon as Barrie has outlived his usefulness his owners will drop him like a syphilitic leech, right into the furnace.
Obviously, Dr. Kiteck is second rate. Obamadoctornet will have only the finest physicians. To insure he has only the best, he has reduced the fee schedule for doctors services. Only the best will accept lower pay.
In copletely unrelated news, the yearly stipend for doctors has been increased from $80000 to $60000. Celebrate with a new Obama t-shirt or maybe some nice Obama post-cards.
Remember:
they only promised insurance!
Medical care?
For that, you will be using
a “practicing” physician from the Peking Veterinary school!
The very best technology banned by the FDA (for you own good)!
You like Obamacare?
I’ve got a bridge over the Columbia to sell’ya, cheap!
He meant Dr Kevorkian
Now the strike is expanding to yet another field of the economy.
The system collapse is becoming obvious to all.
Next step is even more increased tax pressure on the ever shrinking productive fraction of the population, followed by suppression of social handouts, one at a time, for lack of funds…
Refer to the decline and fall of Detroit, which is but a smaller scale version, to get a picture of where we stand now in the process, and what is next.
The real problem is how long it will take. European countries have endured decades of this and only recently did Greece and other countries have to cut. But when it happened, it took only about 4 weeks or so for Greece to go from solvent to unable to refinance its debt. Or maybe 8 weeks. Can’t recall which, but it’ll be sudden and painful.
Until then, expect those who are getting handouts to praise those who are willing to keep it going.
Cue the IRS audit. 3-2-1…..
Come on Steve, Obummer was right in his description of Doh-bammacare when he said “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, period.” He just didn’t define “period” for us. “period” means:
…, on your Christmas card list
…, on your cell phone speed dial
…
“period” does not mean, to practice medicine on you.
/sarc
But the other question has been ignored.
Under this new regime does your doctor want to keep you?
