Depends on which end of the gun.
I can’t get the link to work #3254089. Says I need to login.
Two years of mandatory military service before you can become a (public school) teacher. No exceptions. If the military boots you because you’re Section 8, you can’t even live within 5 miles of a school.
Teachers’ primary job is teaching, not “taking care of” children. What happened to ASKING them if they want to take on the extra duty? Don’t give me that “hardass” vs. “pussy” merde–grow up, everybody.
It is adults’ duty to take care of children. Being a teacher does not exempt you from that duty.
At the bottom of the gun debate is this thought “I can’t have you around here with a gun because if I were you I knew I couldn’t be trusted with one”.
I agree, there seems to be a lot of projection in some anti gunners’ arguments.
I can think of plenty of teachers I had in the past who shouldn’t be allowed within 5 feet of a child.
