Invalid reading; Thomas Karl has not had a chance to ‘grub’ it up yet …
But what were the adjacent grids reading?
Are you denying that adjacent grids should be smeared over this fallible thermometer “data?”
What about the clear bias in the time of the reading? It’s right in front of your face–“…at Joplin MO this MORNING.” What more evidence to you need that this “data” must be adjusted?!
And you probably also deny that in-filling is necessary, right?
Hater! Bigot! Soccer lover!
We believers will wait for the BEST team to tell us what their algorithm tells them the actual reading was. Because there’s no need for “data,” only algorithms.
You and your silly insistence on “data!”
A pox and you and your kind!

Yes, this last three years reminds me more and more of the seventies.
I remember working outside in the 70s, and some of those years were not COOL! This is much better!
We have tied our record low temp of 56F twice this month, last night being the second time.
More extreme weather caused by global warming, global climate change, global climate volatility, etc.
exactly as predicted by Mons. Gore et al – these cooling anomalies remain manifestations of the AGW theory – leading to rebound affects – so only a harbinger of heat and destruction – sorry folks only a reprieve from the evitable – you unbelievers should be gaoled for your own good – re-educated so you will not harm yourselves or others and teach you the value of consensus science and control of ad hoc intellectual discourse.
🙂
So how long a cold snap can we expect before the next rise in temperature? I guess you will still be singing your praise of chakra algore during the next glaciation. While the rest of the world tries to stay warm with mile high ice over top of Obama’s home town.
