    Now we have UNELECTED bureaucrats writing most of our laws.

    Yes, that tiny little stack on the top right are the laws passed by our elected leaders all the rest, some 800,000 pages, are written by unelected UNFIRABLE bureaucrats

    The Tenth Amendment:
    “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

    The tenth Amendment is what the Federal Government/Progressives have been stomping into the ground ever since FDR agreed to do away with the national sovereignty of the USA in the 1930s.

    Any politician that declares the Constitution of the United States “a living breathing document” or some such BS should be rejected out of hand for national office because they have clearly stated that they will not be bound to adhere to the oath of office they will take if elected or appointed. They are in fact stating a position that is legally repugnant to the supreme law of the land they will be sworn to uphold and protect. Thus I would not vote for Mike Huckabee or Al Gore or any other number of politicians that have ever taken that position. Once such a position is stated such a thing cannot be altered by the mere change in position in a platform or statement because it is such a fundamental principle. Either you get it or you don’t! There is no defend-able twixt unless one is dealing with the even higher principle of survival of the nations citizens.

    Some claim that the concept of a “living” Constitution reflects Thomas Jefferson’s views. That’s a lie.
