All The Global Warming Nonsense That’s Unfit To Print

Here’s a fabulous NOAA prediction from October 2014:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/16/us/winter-weather-outlook/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
To get to the quick, just a couple of months before Winter 2015, the NOAA climate experts predicted above average temperatures in the North East and average temperatures in the Mid-Atlantic. Reality is the North East and Mid Atlantic experienced the coldest temperatures in recorded history!! These ***** cannot even get a forecast correct 2 months out yet we are supposed to believe them on a 50 year prediction? Unbelievable.
Breakdown by region of what NOAA expects:
Northeast — above-average temperatures, above-average precipitation along the coast. Hennen said it’s important to remember that a lot of storm systems start in the South and work their way up the coast, so cities like New York and Boston might get more than their normal amounts of snow.
Mid-Atlantic — temperatures should be about normal as will the precipitation amounts in the interior parts of each state; wetter toward the ocean
And this has been their ‘prediction’ last year, too. And if you look at their ‘year ahead predictions’ today, they claim the Northeast and South will be super warm starting in April, above normal for all summer and beyond.
This was their prediction last year, too. They are utterly incompetent.
Back in the 1980s, I did a study of the accuracy of NOAA seasonal predictions. They were right about 50.5% of the time, when pure guess work would give a 50% accuracy. The Old Farmer’s Almanac did slightly better at 51%. So neither one provides enough correct guidance to be useful.
Thought you might like to know I’ve Finally disproved climate change!!
Proof: recent temperature trends are not abnormal
I find the CET data rejects the hypothesis of “climate change” (>58%) & current “global warming” (>72%) and that overall global temperature has not changed significantly more than would be expected.
You, Steven, have recognized what other climate bloggers are reluctant to see or to admit: “Government science is exactly what George Orwell predicted in the book he started writing in 1946” – Nineteen Eighty-Four.

There’s science and then there’s government “science”. One is theory derived from the facts the other is the fabrication of the facts to fit their “theory”.
You are right; recent temperature trends are not abnormal. The UN’s IPCC is the “Ministry of Truth” that George Orwell warned about in the book he started writing in 1946: Nineteen Eighty-Four

My attempt to reaffirm your conclusion on your site was NOT ALLOWED
Researchgate posted this one-page sequel to events (1945-2015) that produced the AGW scandal:

The Adirondacks are warming? Which one? I’ve been looking all over for just ONE warm Adirondack, but they all seem cold to me.
The Great Lake in front of my outpost is still around 60+% frozen. After last Winter of much of the same the deepest water zone has to be cooling down which may bring on earlier ice-over if the next few years keep getting hotter and hotter.
Below zero again this am in wisconsin is the arctic freezer door open? -29f Cambridge bay Nunavut this am too so the freezer is making more cold?
http://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/nu-11_metric_e.html
It is FINALLY above freezing around here in mid NC at 34 °F @ 1:30 pm. Normal average high for this date is 60 °F around here.
To give an idea of how weird this freezing temps are. For New Years Day these are the average temperautres:
Mean Temperature …… 41 °F
Max Temperature ……. 51 °F
Min Temperature ……. 31 °F
Not here. 23 deg F, with winds gusting to 13 mph. Though the sky is clear and the sun beating down we are not forecast to be above freezing until tomorrow afternoon. We won’t see the 50s until Tuesday and it will still drop below freezing at night for the rest of the week.
Gail, I have had my eye on you these past few years.
I can’t find you on fb :/
time inside, one of the few ‘joys’ of snow.
thanks for your endeavour and contribution
-27 this morning here in the warming Adirondacks.
