“Rush for renewable energy has been ‘most expensive policy disaster in modern British history”

Great Britain finally figured it out, as has Germany and Denmark.
Wondering when the United States will.
Not GB !! Not those who can change it. Germany are just at the cusp. France is still in the dark age and will remain there until they are bankrupt (about 5 yrs)
Cost vs Benefit is a concept that is totally foreign to many governments; most apply the “(seen to be) doing the right thing” principle instead. They wouldn’t last a microsecond in a corporate world.
EXACTLY! Like, it’s “the right thing to do to allow public employees to unionize and to pay them twice what the market could bear, and give them massive pensions for sitting on their rears most of the time.” Until we go belly up.
Or cities that say “let’s buy $3 million hydrogen buses to stop climate change because it’s the right thing to do, even though we could buy buses for maybe 200k that would get the job done just as well.” Yup, “let’s do the right thing, until we’ve used up all the other peoples’ money we can, and are broke. Then we’ll probably get a federal bail out! Live is good!”
The AGW fiasco shows how humans were “dumbed down” so “global elitists” could rule after Stalin emerged victorious from WWII to save the world from nuclear annihilation by:
1. Forming the United Nations in October 1945, and
2. Forbidding knowledge of the force that destroyed Hiroshima
Cue the “but we have to bear the cost of cleaning up our song planet” idiots. Ask them for examples of our planets obvious impending doom, and what will be their reply?
“Global climate change!”
EEEEdiots!”
Dying planet, not “song,” sheesh.
That is a strange typo, I’ll give you that 🙂
It is a brain fart. Due to:
A. Lack of caffeine
B. Lack of oxygen to the brain
Ya gotta luv it !! 🙂

And more natural gas from Australia.. (on that link above)
That Hopeless fossil fuel addict will be happy :-).
Nice set of gauge readings here

Who owns and controls media also controls public opinion (mass of population is so uneducated that anything out of TV screen is “Truth”…), which in turn controls politicians via elections. This is why so stupid and monumental lies alike AGW, Green energy, US exceptionalisms, world domination and evil russians can sustain.
But this tortuous way of Democracy misuse is not the relevant example to attract other nations curb to democracy. Which alternates are?
The MSM was bought and paid for in 1915 by J.P. Morgan and his buddies:

I don’t know how they work out these renewable sums at all but I do know that the cost of this farce will be much, much higher.

“California’s wind farms — then comprising about 80% of the world’s wind generation capacity — ceased to generate much more quickly than Kamaoa. In the best wind spots on earth, over 14,000 turbines were simply abandoned. Spinning, post-industrial junk which generates nothing but bird kills.”
So who pays to clean up the mess?
According to Chis The Wind Barron that isn’t a problem. So why were these just left standing?

Not sure if this is why about a hundred large windmills on I-8 in CA near Pine Valley were dead still about a week ago. Looked like there was no wind to me, but in any case, I hope the backup power for the windmills was working. because they were generating Watts equal to Mr. Blutarsky’s GPA at the time.
Where is that Windy Barron to answer the questions put by the Centre of Policy Studies?
I am ashamed to say he says he is British.
He’s sadly typical of that grasping, upper-middle class mindset, ever seeking the correct peer to raise his skirt to.
wondering if England is also building natural gas powered turbines to spin up when wind isn’t blowing fast enough (90% of time) or the sun isn’t shining (70% of time) (night + clouds); will they buy gas from Russia? National Security issue?
Importing wood chips from the US so they can say they are running “biomass” plants. It sounds green after all.
Last I heard they were using diesel generators.
