Huge amounts of money, energy, effort and coordination are being spent on the global warming scam in the US. There is no scientific or policy end game to it, because the US doesn’t have much, if any, control over atmospheric CO2 levels. That is in Asia’s hands.
The only explanation is a power grab. They are creating an army of brownshirts (like Hope) who will back anything the regime does to retain power, and thus “save the planet.”

The end game is a company town on a global scale.

What is The Purpose Of This Scam?
In New York City, students are no longer being held accountable for their actions. Steal from another student, get caught with drugs, or physically assault someone else, and you may still be able to avoid being suspended. How? Why, by being a minority, of course!
New rules are going into effect for the New York Public School District aimed at ensuring that black students are not suspended at higher rates than their white counterparts. Whether they actually commit more offenses or not doesn’t matter. Because what’s important is that NYC give the impression of fairness, not that they actually make their schools safer.
Instead of suspending students, the district demands that something called “restorative justice” be used. In other words, the students will go through a therapeutic process with school guidance counselors instead of being punished in any meaningful way. Unfortunately, this approach to discipline has been tried elsewhere and the results have been dismal. Of course, when you don’t suspend students, it does bring down suspension rates, so if that’s your ultimate goal then I guess everything’s fine.
In cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Syracuse, these progressive policies have led to a complete collapse of the disciplinary system, pitting even teacher’s unions against Democratic politicians. Student behavior has only worsened in these districts, with reported increases in fights, threats towards teachers, and violence even among elementary students.
But none of that matters, you see, because we’re looking at this behavior in the wrong way. According to Obama’s Education Secretary Arne Duncan, these “young people are now taking control of the environment.”
Most of this nonsense is driven by civil rights activists like the Pacific Educational Group. Their goal is to “achieve racial justice in our schools.” At any costs. PEG’s workshops implore white teachers to check their “racial bias” when dealing with unruly black students. Instead of stamping out bad behavior, they are taught to understand that black culture consists of being more emotional and physical. That black boys should be given a pass on acting out because that’s how they “engage in learning.” If the other students can’t engage in learning while this is going on, well, that’s just what they deserve for America’s history of racism, isn’t it?
You don’t need a crystal ball to see how this is going to turn out. We’re headed right back to segregation, and liberals are leading the charge. Parents aren’t going to sit by forever and watch the public schools they send their children to devolve into wastelands of violence and crime. You don’t “solve” racism by erasing expectations. And you sure as hell don’t improve our educational system by giving bad behavior a free pass based on skin color.

There is certainly a trend to erase the rule of law and replace with the rule of a chosen few powerful people.
I think that started at the top and has been working its way down. Yeah, schools are part of it.
The environment movement always used to have an anti-authority streak, so if you search people like Judi Bari, the State tried the direct approach, yet the anti-authority remained.
With the whole Global Warming schtick they were able to convince these people that they need government. Now they are all desperate to be part of the authoritarian system and willing to crack down on others who might think the wrong thoughts. It’s completely turned around the environmental movement and brought it around to bring a tool of the State for the purpose of enforcement and conformity.
Maurice Strong bought them in 1972 when he invited Greenpeace et al to the UN’s First Earth Summit and paid their way. He then told them to go home and raise hell. The Rockefellers and others funded the groups and between the ego stroking by the UN and the money strings these groups were hooked but GOOD.
There was a small back page article in the Wall Street Journal in April of 1994. It said papers in the Kremlin showed activist groups in the USA were not only funded by the KGB but they were headed by the KGB.

Money is Power and a Religion can sustain it. Very interesting how there are so many different points presented on this AGW Scam & purpose; it’s very clear this goes beyond just one reason.
The magnitude of this Scam, almost makes it self sustaining and the Agenda runs over any Real Science that challenges it. AGW is a gravy train on a runaway track with no end in sight because those on board were once naive & have become corrupt at some stage of the journey. Of course, this train wont stop at Stations like Wisdom or Morality ; that would defeat their purpose !
The Green Party in the U.K. has as part of its plank that it wants 0% economic growth. That means even tiny population growth would mean the GDP would be spread over more people, ensuring a lower standard of living assuming any productivity gains are not large enough to offset the lower GDP per capita. In other words, they WANT the West to go in decline or stabilize. Simultaneously, they want the rest of the world to do better. I’ve thought for a while that’s the whole goal of the scam.
Here in the U.S., the most recent data I saw showed that the administration has actually cut back oil leases on public lands by 6%. Had the fracking miracle not happened, that would have caused oil prices to soar (which was the goal). But thanks to fracking on private lands, U.S. oil production has soared and caused oil prices to collapse (following Prof. Mark Perry on twitter, he’s been all over the U.S. oil production story since about 2008). Soaring oil prices, which was the goal, would have accomplished two goals: 1) it would have provided a huge incentive to adopt alternative energy faster and spur investment in it, and 2) it would have caused U.S. GDP to stall. Just as the U.K. Green’s want. When the economy is not growing, then it is much easier to make the political debate about redistributionist economic policy. Social tensions rise when the economy is not growing. People get demoralized and desperate. They then become more amenable to using government force to take money from people who have it and give it to them. When the economy is growing, people feel productive. They have jobs and can take care of their families. They don’t care as much about “income inequality”, so redistribution has less appeal. It’s the far left Cloward-Piven strategy except on a massive, international scale.
The global elites think average rubes in Western Civilization have it too good. The whole scam is about halting economic growth in the West (or even putting the West into decline); redistributing income domestically and internationally in the name of “equality”; and allowing the rest of the world to catch up. At least the Greens are open and honest about it. In America the Democrats know they can’t be honest or they’d get thrown out of power (which fortunately they have been thrown out – at least in Congress). But they still have to lie about the true goals and do it gradually under false pretenses. That’s what I think the scam is all about.
