Contrary to the endless lies being spouted by the White House and the rest of the alarmist climate community, summers at the nation’s capital are becoming shorter and cooler.
Hot days are coming less often, they start later in the year and end earlier in the year.
Give those charts to Gore; he’ll reverse them and declare; GLOBAL WARMING.
O/T
Late last night you had a request for your best data and where your data came from to show to warmists from a plant electrician. I tried to answer him with pointers to the threads I had booked marked.
You might want to put together a set of graphs, well documented and explained that we can point these people to.
Second O/T
WordUnimpressed is getting very very flakey. There was no comment book in one of your recent thread for example. Also many of my comments have gotten eaten by WordUnimpressed.
I run a blog on WordPress. If you have more than three links, it goes into the email system and the host has to then give permission.
Solution: Break up each post so it is 2-3 links. I tell all my readers to do this and we now have less aggravation.

emsnews,
Steve upped it to five links. The post I was tearing my hair out over was just three sentences with no links.
I rewrote it several times and played with the writing of the word T R o t S k Y and several others and finally got it through. One of the others on the thread took those three sentences put them back into actual English and his post got booted into the ether too.
John Kehr’s website is censored. You can not post a link to Inconvenient Skeptic here, at E.M. Smith’s or at Jo Nova’s Jo checked and it did not get put into moderation or spam.
(I just got closed by Remote Server trying to post this. It happens several times a day now.)
Had dinner over at a friend’s last evening. Diane Sawyer’s young male replacement borg puppet with the coiffed locks was anchoring ABC’s “World [Propaganda] Now” program – and reported (with big bold letters graphic on the screen) that February/March 2015 makes this the hottest winter on record.
These sheep watch this stuff. Daily. Day after day. After day. After day. After day. After day…. As do millions.
If I email graphs like this http://www.woodfortrees.org/graph/rss/from:1997/plot/rss/from:1997/trend/plot/none
to them, the response is stone cold silence.
I love leftists! You can feed them a crap sandwich and call it roast beef.
If the Potomac was ice and snow covered in March (which is unprecedented) during the hottest winter on record, you would think it would be frozen all year long during a cold winter.
Tony is looking at the first and last days hitting 95F.
In 2004 Mid NC had five days 95F to 98F in May. 4 days – 93F in April and it was still hitting 98F in August.
I count 43 days over ninety F for 2004 by July tenth vs 26 days for 2010, and four days of 98F in 2010 vs nine days of 98F.
In 2013 we had ONE, Just ONE day all summer reach 95F (June) and only 15 days over 90F for the entire summer.
2014 was a little warmer with 22 days over 90F. 4 days were over 95F with one day at 97. Still no match for 2004 or 2010.
Warmer? Don’t make me laugh. I feel like I am back in New England in the 1980s
You should be back here in New England today!
Went down to nearly zero F last night. Bright sun today and barely 25 degrees and spring is supposed to be here already.
No thank you.
Just to make you jealous.
We just had a couple beautiful days, sunny with MAX of high 60s to low 80s. Now we are back to the 40s and 50s. Normal for this date is Max = 64 °F, Min = 41 °F
We actually had 83 °F high and 39 °F low two days ago. Record high for the 17th was 92 °F (1945)
I will take the occasional over 95 °F and not have to shovel snow.
In case a warmist accuses you of cherry picking a location, how about similar length of summer charts for a set of major cities around the world? Or better yet, link to a data source where we can get the data for whatever major city we like.
