End Of March : Ponds Frozen

I noticed this afternoon that most of the ponds are frozen over here in Fort Collins. That is unheard of this late in the spring. We didn’t make it above freezing all weekend.

The Arctic however is ice-free.

While the ponds and lakes here in South Jersey have been ice-free since the onset of “summer” in December, 2009, we’re still averaging about 10 degrees below normal. Hardly global warming, climate change, or whatever else the idiots would otherwise redefine as natural variability.

The pre-spawn bass bite is good–they obviously haven’t read the IPCC reports, or Algore’s website.

phew….for a minute, i thought we were in trouble with ice in the arctic….can’t explain though about the snow and ice all over my yard and road still….must be all rotten though…oh well, 3 more days and then I going to do the totally obsurd thing, and bypass Winnipeg and go to Phoenix for a vacation…I know, I know…silly me…

That part of the Delaware River where Washington crossed in a boat was frozen this year – HA HA HA if he only knew he could walk across it in a couple hundred years, instead of losing men in his boat

We have potential for snow forecast for the next 3 days here in Nashville! … WTF? … are you kidding me? I thought I lived in the south…

I like the cold because it shuts Greenie mouths – until the weather gets warm. Greenie noise makes warm weather absolutely unbearable.

Looks like it is going to be a Silent Spring for the alarmists.

It gets really sickening when the Heidi Cullen’s come out and explain how “this is a consistent with what Science says about AGW”

The ice is finally clear on the lake behind my house as of Friday !!!. I’m 30 miles from Chicago.

  8. Brian G Valentine says:

More to the point, do we see any actual climate science carried out by the Government – such as discernment of multi-decadal climate variation, or uncovering the origins of the El Nino?

Nada. It’s all agenda-driven “research” in attempts to do the impossible – namely “validate” AGW.

This shit-hole “research” didn’t start with Obama, either, but it has become a lot worse.

Not much extreme golf weather in Michigan this March, or most anywhere else for that matter.

It went below freezing in Albuquerque last night. Todays high will be around 17 degrees below normal.
