What a world class maroon. With all the frozen ground and snow, floods are much more likely than drought this spring.

Well hopefully it will be the hottest year eva!

  2. Doesn’t matter. If there are floods (even if due to melt of excess snow caused by cold temps) that will be blamed on global warming too. He will continue to blame random weather events on global warming until such time as the only twit left on his feed is David Appell. They can then spend the declining years of their lives complaining to each other about how dumb everyone else is.

McKitten better not read this then,
Long-term droughts in Southwestern North America often mean failure of both summer and winter rains, according to new tree-ring research from a University of Arizona-led team…
“This is the first time researchers have used tree rings to take a closer look at the monsoon in a large and important area of the American Southwest,” said Griffin, who also is an EPA STAR Research Fellow at the UA Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research.

“Monsoon droughts of the past were more severe and persistent than any of the last 100 years,” he said.

  7. Justa Joe says:

Don’t worry. When the floods come it won’t chasten McKitten one iota. The drought predictions won’t even be a distant memory.

  8. Olaf Koenders says:

So the McKibben burger can’t forecast his own weather and needs to parrott the Guardian instead. Pretty sad lame.

  9. theyouk says:

Where is the ‘off’ switch for this buffoon? How does someone so annoying get any airtime? What happened to him in his youth to make him such a negative a-hole?

Sheesh. This guy would look at a birthday cake and only see the CO2 coming from the candles. What a tool.

  10. Ben says:

There are only two objective measures for drought severity: Crop yield and seed quality.

By those measures 2012 was not a drought year.

8th highest crop yield in history, and seed quality was very high, higher than in 2011, a non-drought year.
