That sucks Steven, having your child in the area. I just heard on KOA @ 1410 hours MST that the shooter was dead of suicide after shooting one teacher, and possibly wounding another student. Should be over.
You regularly walked the woods near Sandy Hook, now you have a son in Littleton, near Arapahoe High. What is up with that? Are you just an attention whore? “I was affected by these liberal gun-toting suicidal maniacs that only gun-toting conservatives can stop”? Just maybe it isn’t about you. Maybe it is about too many guns available. Maybe it is about the mental health care that Reagan thought was ‘too costly’ for us. Mental health care wouldn’t have prevented all of these tragedies, but it sure would have prevented some of them. What is the cost of care versus tragedy? Put the mentally insane back into treatment centers. Yes, it is a ‘socialistic entitlement program’, but it is necessary and right. Treat people before they kill innocents, not after.

Anyone with half a brain would recognize that children need to be protected and not left vulnerable and unprotected. This guy walked the halls for 14 minutes holding a shotgun, and the school had no one to stop or deter him. Pathetic. In most Colorado homes he wouldn’t have lasted 30 seconds.
