Just for amusement value, I e-mailed the company building high-end holiday homes in the Maldives, asking them how long my investment would be safe with their problem with drastically rising sea-levels.
I never got a response.
When it comes to ‘real world’ applications, none of them give a toss. Flannery, Gore, Gillard and Suzuki…all proud owners of prestige waterfront dwellings.
They’re building it on stilts.
Where the hell are Jim Hansen Stefan Rahmstorf?! They’re certain sea levels will rise at least 7′ by 2100. Why aren’t they protesting this lunacy?
And how much coral is going to be destroyed in the construction process?
Since the Maldives are good at wrecking their own coral reefs. And then blaming any tidal erosion damage on BS AGW/CC sea level rise.
It is actually a secret Chinese submarine base that is being built. The airport is just a cover story to confuse spy satellites.
