Climate Experts Tell Us That Greenland Is Melting Down At -18C

Then again, like someone said about the Arctic icecap in 2012, “Maybe in the end, it will melt away quite suddenly.” or maybe not.
Perhaps it’s melting more from the edges inwards, rather than the centre outwards?
What’s the temps at the edges currently?

Thule airbase here just over freezing (‘C)

Melting at -18F. Impossible
SUN SPOT UPDATE: 16 sun spots today.
Based on spaceweather.com analysis. Just months ago the number was like 200 sun spots. The sun has gone dead silent, and I don’t see this changing for a long long time. Oh, and another thing, apparently when I wasn’t looking we had our first spotless day in nearly for years (check spaceweather.com). Expect a lot more spotless days to follow. And we just finished the solar max. We’re not anywhere near a solar minimum. And to have spotless days already? Incredible.
I suspect they are talking about sublimation rather than melting. If no regular snowfall to central Greenland then ice will indeed slowly disappear whatever the temperature.
This site provides much sun related info: http://www.landscheidt.info/?q=node/50
then ice will indeed slowly disappear whatever the temperature.
Not rapid catastrophic melting though

Personally I think that UV radiation has much more influence on earth’s temperature. It’s the ocean that regulates temperature on the high temperature scale and the land (+ ice pack) on the cold temperature scale. Higher UV radiation deeper penetration.

But than warmer means more cloud formation cooling the place down. When do you think Barcelona had his rainy days this year?
