It’s The Communism, Stupid

Climate activists are becoming more open that their goal is communism.

Climate change conference calls for an end to capitalism

A climate change conference held in Venezuela involving roughly 130 green groups has ended with a call to end capitalism and reject carbon markets, reports RTCC.

The UN-backed conference included organisations such as the World Wildlife Fund, Christian Aid and the Third World Network.

Ending with the Margarita declaration, the conference was the largest of its kind, inviting non-governmental organisations to engage with the UN in climate change talks.

  1. Otter (ClimateOtter on Twitter) says:

The vast majority of those who scream at me when I present real data and peer-reviewed refutation of their beliefs, tend to be socialists / communists.

Mind you, there are some decent socialists. But I draw the line there.

    • bobmaginnis says:

“….However, it remains unclear who in fact signed the controversial declaration.

    • Frank Stagg says:

Who needs a smoking gun when they’re shooting missiles at you. People who don’t realize that the Greens are socialist and communists are like the Germans who were surprised that the Nazis were not nice guys. Wake up America.

    • There Is No Substitute for Victory. says:

Peter Singer, the kill the elderly, the sick, the disabled and the young, professor from Princeton University was appointed to be the second in command at Energy behind Steven Chui and to be Obama’s Science Czar. Singer is a rabid warmest as well as a Marists.

Singer calls for carbon credits to be used to equalize incomes world wide, and believes that any American family earning $30K a year is an enemy of the Masses. There was nearly a serious riot at the Durbin, SA Climate conference in about 2009 when it became evident that the US, China, India, and Brazil were not going to pauper themselves on the alter of carbon trading credits so that the Third World could live in the style that you reading my words wish that you could become accustomed to. To me, myself, and I that goes far beyond “tending” to be Socialists or Communists!

    • omanuel says:

Yes, it is the Communists, but they are closely allied with the Capitalists who head the largest telephone, retail and energy companies and rake in $$$ billions each year off helpless consumers.

      • _Jim says:

Look, it’s not like they DON’T provide a useful service. I have a cell phone plan today that costs me a dollar a day, offers nationwide calling and unlimited texting … do you know what plans cost and offered in the early 1990’s? NOTHING COMPARABLE.

        • omanuel says:

Yes, there are advantages to living under Communism. The question is whether or not American citizens are ready to sacrifice their right to self-governance – to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – for the advantages of cell phones, reality TV, video games, gladiator sports, drugs and Obamacare !

        • _Jim says:

Not a reply; coat-racking. Not appreciated.

  3. kentclizbe says:

    Tony,

Politically Correct Progressivism–of which Global Warming Alarmism is a major wing–is NOT Communism.

    They are anti-Normal-America.

Since Normal-America’s success is based on a capitalist economy (at least it was), they are just ANTI-CAPITALIST.

Note that the “Margarita Declaration” does NOT call for communism. It just demands a “change to the system.”

It is a strategic and tactical mistake for we Normals to misunderstand the belief system of our opponents. They are NOT communists, socialists, etc.

    They are only anti-Normal-America.

Once you get that, it becomes easier to understand, and therefore counter, our opponents.

    • omanuel says:

      Kent is exactly right.

Our opponent is the only one of three tyrannical powers fighting in WWII:

      1. Hitler’s Nazi Power?
      2. Japan’s Imperial Ruler?
      3. Stalin’s Communist Government?

HINT: Climategate emails came from a Russian server.

Tyrannical, lock-step opinions had paraded as consensus science in the old USSR under Stalin for decades.

A member of the community of Russian “skeptics” almost certainly gave us “unskeptical” Americans our first hint of the real winner of WWII.

  4. FergalR says:

Damn, I could do with a Margarita right now.

  5. Marc Blank says:

    Choom Declaration

  6. Hey Greenies, best of luck paddling home from Venezuela.

  7. omanuel says:

Regretfully, Steven, I came to same conclusion when I finally learned that Stalin’s USSR troops captured Japan’s atomic bomb production facility in the closing days of WWII.

    • omanuel says:

I hope to complete and post a manuscript today that will show the opponent that will defeat Stalin et al. – the opponent Stalin had hidden from people of the USSR prior to WWII – the opponent Stalin foolishly thought he could hide from the rest of the world after WWII.

  8. Les Johnson says:

“Hmmm. 130 green groups and the UN ended a conference with this declaration:

The structural causes of climate change are linked to the current capitalist hegemonic system.

To combat climate change it is necessary to change the system.

Well, at least carbon markets and REDD were called a “”false solution””. Maybe because it has “”markets”” in the title?

It gets worse. Also as a participant was CAN International, which represents over 900 green NGOs. Including EDF, WWF, Greenpeace, Forest Watch and Sierra Club.

From Climate Action Network’s energy paper:

The central challenge is breaking away from the current entrenched fossil fuel-?based energy system and overturning the powers that control it, while ensuring the rewards of a sustainable energy system are shared by all equally.

nah. That does not sound like a call to end capitalism. /sarc

  9. D. Self says:

Bring it on nut job greenies

  10. SMS says:

Lets see……….can anyone name one example of communism, or its small brother, socialism that has been successful? Didn’t think so. Capitalism works, communism/socialism doesn’t.

Socialistic politicians need to create a need for a nanny state by showing there is a world crisis only they can protect us from. Low information voters buy onto it.

    • _Jim says:

I’m going to go with a steadily ‘feminized’ modern world where government is looked-to for protection from the harm in the real world. Security is the drive, and pols pander to this ‘drive’.

    • bit chilly says:

can anyone actually name a practising socialist ? plenty preach it,very few follow the mantra .look at those good british socialist ex leaders of the labour party ,kinnock and blair ,both now multi millionaires that have long forgotten the minions that voted for them.

socialist are a bunch of rich people
      convincing poor people
      to vote for rich people
      by telling poor people
      that “other” rich people
are the reason they are poor

the only difference between all politicians in the modern era is the colour of tie they wear.

  11. Steve Case says:

    It’s always been about politics.

  12. I’d be a little concerned over their ambitions of global governance when the country can’t even produce enough toilet paper any more…

  13. Eliza says:

This could be a godsend. Make it stick to Obamas climate agenda ect…

  14. The Iconoclast says:

I didn’t see the actual list of the 130 organizations, though WWF was namechecked. This level of honesty from the so-called green groups is very helpful. If they would tell everyone in plain English what they have planned for us, they would lose all rank-and-file support.

  15. bit chilly says:

communism sucks ,yet it pales into insignificance compared to those killed in the name of religion .

    • Shazaam says:

Have you considered that communism / socialism as practiced are just yet another religion? One where the state or government is the all powerful, omnipotent entity that knows what is best for the people and the world?

From that viewpoint some of the practices make sense. Outlawing all other religious practices to eliminate the competition. The ruthless crushing of dissent and elimination of those who do not believe. (heretics)

I can see the proponents of CAGW embracing communism. With them in charge of course, as they know what is best for humanity after all. And CAGW as practiced appears to be more a religion than a theory. After all, those who do not “believe” are labeled “deniers” “skeptics” and now “deranged”.

I’ll take deranged over deluded any day. Deranged is more fun.

    • _Jim says:

I think you have your numbers reversed.

    • V. Uil says:

In the tradition of this blog let’s get some accuracy here. Certainly Steve’s blog is not the place to debate things like this, but I believe that Stalin, Hitler and Mao – solid atheists all – killed more than all those killed in the name of religion. A back of the envelope calculation shows that these lunatics between them killed well over 100 million souls. (Populations were much larger in the 20th century and the technologies of death more effective.)

    • Justa Joe says:

Sorry Bud, Communists & Socialists hold all records for mass death, and it’s not even close.

  16. Les Johnson says:

Iconoclast: Check my post earlier. I gave the URL for the attendees, including Climate Action Network, which represents 900 green NGOs. I also show that the CAN ideology lines up with the conference final statement….

  23. Cultural Marxism Kills says:

Watch and listen to Yuri Bezmenov

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3qkf3bajd4

According to this KGB defector (filmed in 1985) the USA has been “Ideologically Subverted” since the 50ies. A four part process of war without fighting in the conventional sense.

    1) DEMORALIZE

    2) DESTABILIZE

    3) INSURGENCY/CRISIS

    4) NORMALIZE

I keep harping on this because it is the current strategy being used against us. Yuri defected in the 80ies and insisted in this video that the USSR could destroy itself by this process and collapse. As to be expected, Yuri was DEBRIEFED by the CIA and so one can assume based on current events that the CIA/DOD is “Ideologically Subverting” the USA and others to convert the Earth to “Global Communism!”

Because we as Americans attended schools the past many generations have been “DEMORALIZED” with constant Marxist and Leninist thinking. An entire congressional party has been subverted and has become useful to the cause of “Global Communism” Believe it or not McCarthy was correct and we are under attack. We are expected to CAPITULATE.

All of our social systems are DESTABILIZED at this point. There is disequilibrium everywhere we look. Race hatred, religious hatred, narcissism and then our utilities, police, military and everything is off balance or DESTABILIZED.

Then as we attempt to get a handle on what is happening we see this INSURGENCY and though upset will not repel it due to our being DEMORALIZED. This furthers the destabilization efforts by wrecking the economy. We are in a CRISIS!

If nothing is done the government will increase the police state and when necessary implement Martial Law (military) in order to NORMALIZE the situation. We will accept constantly lowering living standards and more Cultural Upheaval.

We must now ABOLISH the Subverted government and repel the insurgency or die under COMMUNISM a FEUDAL SYSTEM of DEMAND DESTRUCTION and the elimination of the entire middle class. If you doubt me simply read the 10 Communist Planks…

First Plank: Abolition of property in land and the application of all rents of land to public purposes. (Zoning – Model ordinances proposed by Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover widely adopted. Supreme Court ruled “zoning” to be “constitutional” in 1921. Private owners of property required to get permission from government relative to the use of their property. Federally owned lands are leased for grazing, mining, timber usages, the fees being paid into the U.S. Treasury.)

Second Plank: A heavy progressive or graduated incometax. (Corporate Tax Act of 1909. The 16th Amendment, allegedly ratified in 1913. The Revenue Act of 1913, section 2, Income Tax. These laws have been purposely misapplied against American citizens to this day.)

Third Plank: Abolition of all rights of inheritance. (Partially accomplished by enactment of various state and federal “estate tax” laws taxing the “privilege” of transfering property after death and gift before death.)

Fourth Plank: CONFISCATION OF THE PROPERTY OF ALL EMIGRANTS AND REBELS. (The confiscation of property and persecution of those critical – “rebels” – of government policies and actions, frequently accomplished by prosecuting them in a courtroom drama on charges of violations of non-existing administrative or regulatory laws.)

Fifth Plank: Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (The Federal Reserve Bank, 1913- -the system of privately-owned Federal Reserve banks which maintain a monopoly on the valueless debt “money” in circulation.)

Sixth Plank: Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State. (Federal Radio Commission, 1927; Federal Communications Commission, 1934; Air Commerce Act of 1926; Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938; Federal Aviation Agency, 1958; becoming part of the Department of Transportation in 1966; Federal Highway Act of 1916 (federal funds made available to States for highway construction); Interstate Highway System, 1944 (funding began 1956); Interstate Commerce Commission given authority by Congress to regulate trucking and carriers on inland waterways, 1935-40; Department of Transportation, 1966.)

Seventh Plank: Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (Depart-ment of Agriculture, 1862; Agriculture Adjustment Act of 1933 — farmers will receive government aid if and only if they relinquish control of farming activities; Tennessee Valley Authority, 1933 with the Hoover Dam completed in 1936.)

Eighth Plank: Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies especially for agriculture. (First labor unions, known as federations, appeared in 1820. National Labor Union established 1866. American Federation of Labor established 1886. Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 placed railways under federal regulation. Department of Labor, 1913. Labor-management negotiations sanctioned under Railway Labor Act of 1926. Civil Works Administration, 1933. National Labor Relations Act of 1935, stated purpose to free inter-state commerce from disruptive strikes by eliminating the cause of the strike. Works Progress Administration 1935. Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, mandated 40-hour work week and time-and-a-half for overtime, set “minimum wage” scale. Civil Rights Act of 1964, effectively the equal liability of all to labor.)

Ninth Plank: Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country. (Food processing companies, with the co-operation of the Farmers Home Administration foreclosures, are buying up farms and creating “conglomerates.”)

Tenth Plank: Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production. (Gradual shift from private education to publicly funded began in the Northern States, early 1800’s. 1887: federal money (unconstitutionally) began funding specialized education. Smith-Lever Act of 1914, vocational education; Smith-Hughes Act of 1917 and other relief acts of the 1930’s. Federal school lunch program of 1935; National School Lunch Act of 1946. National Defense Education Act of 1958, a reaction to Russia’s Sputnik satellite demonstration, provided grants to education’s specialties. Federal school aid law passed, 1965, greatly enlarged federal role in education, “head-start” programs, textbooks, library books.

To achieve the first plank the middle class must go (You and me)!! The insurgency to the south is the ninth plank coming true. Naturally any counterinsurgency will be demonized in the fourth plank. By the looks of it other than changing the currency and closing down the remaining property holders the USA is a COMMUNIST NATION already.

  24. omanuel says:

We can get over 1,000 TV channels of misinformation, all telling us the same government lies. What a bargain!

  25. rishrac says:

Cross referencing another blog, the communists would like you to believe that they have no agenda, only the good of the poor planet, are not involved in conspiracies. Mao murdered 90 million, Stalin about 20 million, and Hitler only about 6 million. Pol Pot was able to kill twice that many at 12 million. The numbers are simply staggering, and yet people willingly go along with them. Truly a sick planet. I wonder how,.. if.. AGW had gotten what it wanted.. do the supporters of AGW think that they would be left alive? Why would you die for a lie? ..
