I’ve seen one real Torino Cobra in my life. It was 1994 as I recall. It was parked in front of the campus athletic building. It was a beater. It had a piece of plywood where the hood scoop should have been. Same color as the one pictured. I should have left a note offering to buy it.
My bot friend’s Dad had one.
I once owned a 70 Mercury Cyclone, the Cobra’s sister car, 429 SCJ/4 speed. Parts are hard to find.
I once owned a Fairlane with a 428 Cobra jet and 4 on the floor. Got it airborne once on the hills on Indiana Hwy 128. See, even back in the 70’s i was fighting global cooling! Always have been environmentally conscious!

I want a 1969 429 BOSS Mustang. I came very close to buying one in 1974 but it had really had the guts run out of it and would have taken more money than I had to bring it back to where it should be. I think the “adjustments” story by SG and Homewood is actually doing some major damage to the AGW LOL based on its persistent drumming on MSM .Its likely to be its demise me thinks. AT LAST!

Only 41% think humans cause global warming in August 2014 while in Apr 2008 it was 47%. (Notice this is NOT CAGW but AGW,) Also Global Warming has fallen off the table with most people. You can only keep up the frenzy for so long before adrenal fatigue sets in. People go numb and they notice all the catastrophes haven’t happened.
Lets face it the hype has been going on and on and on for around forty years. People have other things to worry about like a lousy economy, high unemployment, ISIS terrorism, China stealing more American jobs, The Fed and the fate of the US dollar…
Global warming is pretty much dead.
I think the ones behind the scam are now looking for a way out. Remember Al Gore has already divested from Green Energy. There is a push to get government and university pensions to sell off coal and fossil fuels and buy green energy. I think that is the last stage of the scam. Dumping the useless green energy stock on University pension funds and then letting Tony Heller’s, Paul Homewood’s, meteorologist Klaus Hager’sand physicist Edward Long’s findings hit the MSM. Toss in Dr Happers discoveries too if you wish. Let Inhofe hold hearing. Toss Mikey Man, James Hansen and a few others to the wolves while TPTB walk away with billions in their pockets and the next scam up their sleeve.
The current administration isn’t getting the message despite polls showing consistently that AGW is the last thing on most citizens’ minds. It was stunning hearing him state that global warming was a more serious threat than ISIS. It’s kind of scary to think he may believe that.
The GFS model has the rest of February with extremely low temperatures across all of eastern north America. Its going to be a long few weeks for many.

It is a shame that today’s “climate scientists” cannot still use the same accurate model they had in 1969. Of course the current guys would have to learn how to use a slide rule…
