Why has it taken so long? This hoax has been going on for a looooong time.
Why has it taken so long? Because they were hopeful they could push the scam through and get laws passed and treaties ratified. At that point it is a done deal and there is no going back. Think the 1913 Federal Reserve Act or more recently the Patriot Act, the Food Safety Modernization Act and Obummercare. All four are very bad news for individual prosperity and happiness but I really doubt we will get rid of them short of a full out revolution.
I saw those headlines and news reports and immediately thought about how you’ve been saying this for years.

Agree totally but the time for talking is over. There is list of about 10 (very small number easily traced) persons worldwide who everybody is familiar with, who need to be prosecuted for fraud or attempted fraud. Lawyers need to be engaged urgently. Also Mockton, WUWT, climate ect ect should stop using ALL data from GISS, Hadcrut ect BEST to say there is NO global warming. Its obvious there has been none from way way, way back. People duped into using the data are not responsible for any wrong doing. Its the persons who have instructed or been instructed by a higher authority to adjust the temperatures who should be prosecuted for attempted fraud.
Judging by article comments, the warmers are in hiding or most likely working on ways to salvage their phony baloney jobs. Only a few weak attempts to discredit the source and, of course, waving the phoney 97% flag, but they are getting crushed.
Yes, Big Brother is going down now and taking a lot of phony scientists – including Nobel Prize winners, NAS and RS members – and publishers of mainstream propaganda down with him.

If you don’t like some other data, assign an appropriate looser weight (higher uncertainty).

There will probably be no investigation unless there is a revolution. A revolution is not in the best interest of society, but it appears the entire upper echelons of society are corrupt.
The situation may be self-correcting since the upper echelons of society will also die if they continue to base policies on false models of the source of energy that powers the cosmos, including the pulsar that is one astronomical unit (1 AU) from planet Earth.

I like that you referred to this as a scam. Some call it a hoax. A scam infers that money or other benefits are gained through illicit means. This is a scam. The end game is in Agenda 21, the Wildlands Project and the Biodiversity Treaty all compliments of the UN that brought you the oil for food scandal that took food out of the mouths of children. These UN projects will end private ownership of just about anything, concentrate populations in central cities, end farming as we know it and forget about meat. There are no words in my language fit to describe these people. And that goes for the rest of the folks that purposefully or unwittingly go along with this scam with or without benefit.
