   Clearly, you are nearing the target as the flak is getting thick

   Lubos has commonly been prone to “rants” that are entertaining [at the same time, puzzling}, especially about string theory etc.

   I don’t know why a guy of his intellegence and facility can’t just compare the NOAA-adjusted temperatures for the midwest in July 1936 [less than today] against the press reports and historical [hard-copy] records of the time.

   NOAA seems to think they can change history – – which they might pull off if nobody throws the BS flag [thank you for doing that!]

   Gail C had a most interesting info-dump on Judy Curry and her consulting business in one of the other threads here. Gail has a knack for cutting through the fluff
