The usual pack of morons has been hyping “record low winter ice extent” just in time to be humiliated again. The Arctic surge has begun. Over the next few days there will be a large increase in Arctic sea ice extent, due to northerly winds and cold temperatures on both sides of the Arctic.
But the real story is that Arctic sea ice has returned to 2005/2006 levels, and the Death Spiral is dead.

They don’t seem to realise a dip in the winter maximum is different to a dip in the summer minimum; it can mean the ice’s bunching up.
