Experts Lied, And The Arctic Rised

Call the grammar police! The title of this post is to grammar, what the hockey stick is to science.

Arctic sea ice continues to increase past 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2011, and will soon start passing other years. No correction from the press about their big lie however.

  1. Jason Calley says:

According to the CAGW cult followers, it doesn’t matter whether the amount of ice is still increasing or not! It already reached a maximum and that’s all there is to it…

    • Jason Calley says:

Seriously — these guys can’t read simple charts, they don’t understand analogy, and they never learned what the word “maximum” means.

      • gator69 says:

They don’t understand the meaning of ‘natural’ either. Complete nutters and frauds.

      • Gail Combs says:

They do not understand the freezing point of water or what snow is. However they may soon understand what freezing your butt off in the cold and dark means as Obummer’s minnions turn out the lights.

  2. D. Self says:

The liars are using the NSIDC data and that data will not show the increase because their pay depends on the lie.

  3. KTM says:

Have these most recent measurements set a new record high for the year? I remember that many of the stories saying this year was a “record low” mentioned that the coverage had peaked earlier than usual, but was “unlikely” to expand toward a new annual high later (now).

If these latest readings are higher than the earlier peak, then this is a matter of a factual error on their part that should require them to publish a correction.

    • Ernest Bush says:

It’s growing while the anomaly line is headed downward for summer. The figure is also skewed by counting ice between Kamchatka and northern Japan. That ice isn’t even close to the Arctic circle. There will never be a correction issued to correct lies. It would defeat the purpose of telling them.

  4. Ernest Bush says:

I talked to a liberal friend about the world sea ice recently. Suddenly, for him it’s about the ice melting on the Antarctic and Greenland landmasses that’s important. Sea ice doesn’t matter. I just dropped the subject. Until more people get the message out that ice doesn’t melt at sub-sub zero temperatures, not to mention snow piling up on both land masses, there’s no talking to a liberal about climate under any circumstances. Life’s too short.

  5. BallBounces says:

When the data points the way it’s supposed to, it’s climate change; when it points the other way, it’s weather. It is the task of climate scientists to take weather-data and convert it into climate data. Without their efforts, humanity would be consigned to the hapless fate of never knowing climate, only the dreary monotony of endless weather.
