Netanyahu is a leech. Your tax money goes to him in huge amounts.

But then many of our ‘allies’ are leeches…

    • The entire Democratic Party and the White House are parasites.

      • omanuel says:

I suspect Stalin was primarily responsible for forming:

        1. The United Nations on 24 OCT 1945
        2. Worldwide totalitarian science in 1946
        3. Israel from Palestine on 14 MAY 1948

The AGW debate ended the UN’s totalitarian control over science, and the losers are now struggling to retain their delusion of totalitarian world control.

This one page sequel to the climate scandal and to my career marks the end to seventy years (1945 – 2015) of totalitarian global science – intended to isolate mankind from the real Creator, Destroyer and Sustainer of every atom, life and world in the Solar System and the constantly changing climates on each of its planets.

    • Scott Allen says:

I believe Israel get’s 3 billion in aid (mostly military). While the real leeches at NOAA get 5.5 billion dollars to give us made up data and lie to us.

    • Gail Combs says:

Israel may be a leech but they use the money wisely.

If all the money we sent to Africa and South America was used in the same manner, there would be a heck of a lot more first world countries and very few third world hell holes.

      • Jimmy Haigh says:

Having visited a lot of these countries I wholeheartedly agree.

      • annieoakley says:

Israel contributes tangible, worthwhile scientific discoveries and shares them with the world. I agree with Gail

        • David A says:

They are also the front line defense against an evil philosophy of violent Islamists extremist. If Israel was destroyed, only a fool would think the Islamist fanatics would quit there. The 3 billion spent there is a worthy and beneficial benefit.

      • policycritic says:

If all the money we sent to Africa and South America was used in the same manner

Via the odious World Bank and IMF: all that money spent went to US corporations. Never left this country. We got their collateral when they couldn’t pay it back, so those countries lost their resources on top of it. Simple arithmetic.

    • Giving that money to Israel it probably the best defense the US can purchase. It’s certainly better than the money we’ve given to Egypt, Libya, North Korea, etc.

      • Gail Combs says:

AMEN! It is one reason I really hate Paul Craig Roberts continual Jew bashing.

The Jews are smart and industrious. Very few fall in the leech category. Of course if you are looking at robbing Peter to pay Paul and thus gain Paul’s vote (Fabian Founder G.B. Shaw) they should be a poor choice.

I have never understood why the Jewish people fell for the Socialist/Communist propaganda. You would think they would know better.

        • annieoakley says:

I agree. I support Israel and do not understand why so many fall for Socialism/Communism but Catholics do it too.

        • policycritic says:

I have never understood why the Jewish people fell for the Socialist/Communist propaganda.

Because they created it, among other things. Read YnetNews, Sever Plocker: Stalin’s Jews

      • policycritic says:

Giving that money to Israel it probably the best defense the US can purchase

Defense of what? They buy US weapons with it, and bomb the indigenous people 25 miles away with them. Our US defense contractors get the dough. That’s how foreign aid works now.

This isn’t post-WWII when we (as the major creditor nation) gave European countries (debtor nations) the money for infrastructure and production in their countries, (which is what the World Bank and the IMF should be doing, but don’t).

After the war, the Europeans needed imports and they couldn’t sell exports because their means of productive capacity was destroyed during the war.

If you’re a seller you want your buyer to have a lot of money.**

After WWII, there was a balance of payments problem; Europe had none. That’s when we introduced the Marshall Plan, and gave Europe $15 billion over four years. They were able to buy goods and services and rebuild their productive facilities, and we had export industries. We had 9 million men and women coming out of the armed forces after the war and they could find jobs easily for both our domestic demand and our growing export industries. It was a win-win for everybody.

But nobody is thinking clearly today. Israel has tremendous economic problems internally; and according to the OECD, their education ranks #28 out of 36. So don’t believe all the PR hype you read.

        ———————–
** Reason why Merkel’s austerity program for Greece is utterly misguided, and she’s shooting her industries in the foot. How can the Greeks afford to buy German goods? She needs to convince Germans to buy more Greek goods, or institute a Marshall plan like we did that saved Germany’s ass.

        • jokin says:

Do you feel comfortable just making stuff up without citation?

          Let me help http://www.israeltoday.co.il/Default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=25345

Data released by the Organization for Co-operation and Development (OECD) last week revealed that following the recently concluded school year, Israel remains among the most educated nations on earth… At present, Israel is the fourth most educated nation, coming in behind Russia, Canada and Japan, and just ahead of the United States… Three years ago, Israel ranked number two in the OECD survey, and last year the Jewish state tied with Japan for second place…

The OECD study noted that Israel’s population is growing far faster than other nations toward the top of the rankings. From 2000 to 2009, for example, Israel’s population increased by a whopping 19 percent.

Teacher salaries in Israel are abysmally low compared to other top-ranked nations. The OECD average income for secondary teachers is USD $32,000, while in Israel teachers at the same level earn only USD $19,000.

Another reason that is closely related to the teacher salary issue is government spending on education. Israel currently invests only USD $11,553 per student on tertiary education, while the OECD average is USD $13,957 per student. The United States spends the most, at USD $26,021 per student.

Considering the above, Israel is something of an anomaly when it comes to education. It’s population, especially among the poorer demographics, is skyrocketing, and it spends very little on educating those people. And yet, Israelis are among the most schooled people in the world.

Israel’s GDP growth rate is easily outstripping the Eurozone, while despite having to absorb large numbers of destitute immigrant refugees annually (plus overcoming the socialist tendencies of the culture), Israel virtually matches the Eurozone and South Korea’s GDP per capita rates:

          http://ieconomics.com/gdp-growth-rate-israel-euro-area

Israel is also fast-becoming a huge net energy exporter, with three new massive natural gas fields- the largest of which is the biggest new discovery of natural gas in the last decade, and there are continuing signs that there are large recoverable oil reserves in both traditional and non-traditional forms:

          http://freebeacon.com/national-security/israel-announces-discovery-of-offshore-gas-field/
          http://www.oilinisrael.net/top-stories/giant-in-oil-and-gold

Coupled with the often-desperate search for domestic energy resources, there have been spillover added benefits in other areas of the economy. “Take for example the water issue. Israel is cursed when it comes to water, especially in the last two decades. No rain, no natural water resources. Israel decided to invest in water technologies. The country came up with some of the biggest breakthroughs. Israeli technology can provide desalination at the lowest price today in the world — 50 cents for a cubic meter (35 cubic feet). It’s close to the marginal cost of delivering normal water. Moreover, Israel is reclaiming 80 percent of water for agriculture. The country is the first in the world to do that. This is the way Israel works. The country always comes up with the technology and solutions for the problems, starting with its own problems but in many cases, Israel’s problems are world problems. A lot of companies developing technologies for the needs of oil and gas companies – water, information technology and cyber security, for example – can find solutions in Israel.

Regarding the IDF measures to defend themselves against “indigenous peoples 25 miles away”… who do you think supplies the Palestinians with the weapons used to attack Israelis? Martians using teleportation?

          http://english.al-akhbar.com/node/13950

In short, you have prematurely sold Israel short and are rather naive about their existential threats.

        • Gail Combs says:

          jokin,

Thank you for doing the research.
Policycritic’s “..according to the OECD, their education ranks #28 out of 36….” makes zero sense in light of the Jew’s high esteem for education.

He is also a big fan of creating money out of nothing. The money that was lent to Europe after WWII is still coming out of our pockets in the form of currency devaluation.

He does not understand that when you double the money supply as was done in 2007-2008 you do not create wealth you just halve the saving of ordinary people because the wealth of the nation doesn’t all of a sudden magically double. In other words it is a TAX, a well hidden tax on the wealth of anyone with savings. More over it is the little guy who gets screwed the worse via wage devaluation and price inflation.

The only reason that the USA has gotten away with printing fiat money with such abandon is because it is the World Reserve Currency. Given the export of our wealth creating manufacturing to China, the shutting down of wealth creating mining, logging and soon farming only the status as World Reserve Currency has kept the dollar from being regarded as a soft currency like the Zimbabwe dollar and the German mark after WWI. This is why Russia and China and other countries are throwing hissy fits and want the USD removed as World Reserve Currency. The US have been Exporting Inflation

          As Wiki says:

“…Hyperinflations are usually caused by large persistent government deficits financed primarily by money creation… nearly all hyperinflations have been caused by government budget deficits financed by money creation. After an analysis of 29 hyperinflations (following Cagan’s definition) Bernholz concludes that at least 25 of them have been caused in this way.[9] Moreover, a necessary condition for hyperinflation has been the existence of fiat money not convertible at a fixed parity into gold or silver. This is suggested by the fact that most known hyperinflations in history with some exceptions, such as the French hyperinflation of 1789-1796, occurred after the break-down of the gold standard during World War I….

US wages in dollars vs gold

          Date..$ /oz gold.. Money supply….minwage…..Pay in gold.
          1959 …35.25 …….50.1 billion……$1.00…………0.0284 oz.
          1974 …195.20…….101 billion……$2.00………….0.0102 oz.
          1976 …124.74 ….. 113 billion…….$2.30………….0.0184 oz..
          1985 ..354.20 …..205 billion……..$3.35…………0.0094 oz.
          1994 …409.80…. 406 billion…….$4.25………….0.0104.oz.
          2006 …636.30 ….808 billion……..$5.15………….0.0081 oz.
          2008 …880.30…..831 billion……..$5.85…………..0.0066 oz
          2009..1,020.28…1663 billion……..$6.55…………..0.0064.oz.

US gross domestic product in trillions of chained 2009 dollars (inflation-adjusted).
          2009 — 14.54 trillion
          1959 — 3.06 trillion
Even if you tie the Dollar to GDP** instead of gold you get dollar devaluation.
          14.54 /3.06 X 50.1 billion = 238 billion not 1663 billion

**GDP is a very poor measure of a country’s wealth because it includes the salaries of bureaucrats who are negative wealth creators, aka parasites. At present they represent ~ 20% of the US labor force. Burger flippers and stork clerks are not exactly wealth creators either and those are now the top US jobs. {:>D

emsnews says: “Netanyahu is a leech.”

      You are a genius.

    • Of all the countries we give money too, Israel is the only one I don’t have a problem with. Long live The U.S. and Israel.

    • policycritic says:

Hardly. Their Technion is in the bottom 3/4 of science schools. The 6 million tanks they made for us during the Iraq war–when they should have been given to an Arizona contractor–didn’t protect our troops from IEDs, and were found to be defective. Big scandal reported in Jane’s Defense Weekly.

      • jokin says:

“6 million tanks they made for us”? Can you elaborate a little further on what the hell you’re talking about? The entire world’s current deployed tank force is less than 100,000.

There were reports of a few M1A1 Abrams tanks that were damaged by massive IEDs (I can’t find for certain if any Arms were destroyed by enemy munitions), but those IEds were reportedly packed with literally tons of TNT explosive power . Can you provide the link from Janes that alleges Technion was “responsible”?

  3. Neal S says:

The promise was given, God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse Israel. I suggest it wisest for the US to bless Israel. I think the current administration is trying to curse Israel while blessing the enemies of Israel, and without us realizing just how treasonous this is.

    Please allow me to repeat:

The AGW debate is over. The UN’s worldwide propaganda machine was exposed after seventy years (1945-2015) of successful operation.

The danger now is desperate acts to retain the delusion of control:

    1. Inciting religious or ethnic violence
    2. Genuine or “false flag” wars
    3. Economic collapse

May God bless and restore the United States of America!

  7. Gail Combs says:

The leader of the free world will be addressing Congress on Tuesday. The American president is doing everything possible to undermine him….

In thanking America, Netanyahu was not posturing for political advantage. Netanyahu — who spent far more of his formative years on the American mainland than Obama did, and who took enemy fire at the age when Obama was openly pushing Marxist theory, and who learned and practiced free enterprise at the same age when Obama was practicing and teaching Alinskyism — has spoken eloquently for decades in praise of the Western heritage of freedom and human rights. He also speaks and acts, quite obviously, to preserve security — for Israel, of course, but more broadly for the civilized world. On Tuesday, as he has done for more than 30 years, Netanyahu will talk about the threat to humanity posed by Iran.

It’s mind-boggling to imagine that any national leader in the free world would fail to understand the danger. The ayatollahs have never backed down from their stated aim of destroying Christendom. They have never wavered from their depiction of the United States as the “Great Satan.” Just last week, Iran bragged about its recent test-firing of “new strategic weapons” that it says will “play a key role” in any future battle against the “Great Satan U.S.”
