Little Ice Age Drought Drove Farmers From The Plains States

Climate criminals blame Great Plains droughts on CO2, global warming and evil white farmers. But a drought during the Little Ice Age in 1690 drove aboriginal farmers out of the Great Plains, with CO2 at pre-industrial levels.

Thanks for this information and for showing the Smithsonian’s involvement in generating propaganda.

Now our government is pushing such agencies to find convincing evidence of AGW before the Paris meeting next month.

But there is NO convincing evidence!

To demonstrate that, the question was posted on ResearchGate: “Is there convincing evidence of AGW?”

    https://www.researchgate.net/post/Is_there_convincing_evidence_of_AGW?

After a lengthy discussion, and many unsuccessful attempts to avoid the obvious answer, NOT ONE of the thousands of scientists on ResearchGate claimed convincing evidence of AGW.

Heads may roll, but the claimed 97% consensus support for the AGW tale completely bogus.

B.S. Omanuel: “Thanks for this information and for showing the Smithsonian’s involvement in generating propaganda.”
Do you really think the Smithsonian was aiming to generate propaganda about the climate, or AGW, in 1937?? It is well known that aridity is a side effect of ice-age intensification, though this fact may not have been known in 1937. The article only suggests that a major drought likely caused the natives to migrate Eastward. The dustbowl in comparison was a very different response of land to drought in that the plow was able to expose more soil to drying and wind, and was more catastrophic in terms of affecting settlements. Tony is perfectly on target in pointing out the irrelevancy of CO2 in terms of cyclical droughts. In fact, more CO2 would help prevent future dustbowls due to increased plant growth. Regardless of warming, or cooling. I think it’s really interesting that if White Rot Fungi had not evolved at the end of the Carboniferous, to break down Lignin, the present day Earth might be devoid of life. As by that time so much CO2 had been taken out of the atmosphere, levels were down to 150ppm. Not far below that, all plant life ceases, then shortly all life ceases.
“There was no guarantee that fungi or any other decomposer species
would develop the complex of enzymes required to digest lignin. If
they had not, CO2, which had already been drawn down for the first
time in Earth’s history to levels similar to today’s, would have
continued to decline as trees continued to grow and die. That is
until CO2 approached the threshold of 150 ppm below which plants
begin first to starve, then stop growing altogether, and then die.
Not just woody plants but all plants. This would bring about the
extinction of most, if not all, terrestrial species, as animals,
insects, and other invertebrates starved for lack of food. And that
would be that. The human species would never have existed. This was
only the first time that there was a distinct possibility that life
would come close to extinguishing itself, due to a shortage of CO2,
which is essential for life on Earth.” – http://www.thegwpf.com/28155/

an interesting question would be determine where we are in the solar calendar as to droughts returning to the Great Plains [which is currently still the bread- and food basket of the world]
The article appears to have written in the middle of the Dust Bowl drought which happened from 1932 until 1939 and drought conditions there returned two decades or so later.

    http://oi60.tinypic.com/2d7ja79.jpg

among a number of calculations, of which the above is only but one, I have come to believe that currently we are comparable to the [solar] situation as it was in 1928. (2015-87=1928)

That means we really don’t have much more than 4 or 5 years left.

    WHAT MUST WE DO?
? We urgently need to develop and encourage more agriculture at lower latitudes, like in Africa and/or South America. This is where we can expect to find warmth and more rain during a global cooling period.
? We need to warn the farmers living at the higher latitudes (>40) who already suffered poor crops due to the droughts that things are not going to get better there for the next few decades. It will only get worse as time goes by.
? We also have to provide more protection against more precipitation at certain places of lower latitudes (FLOODS!), <[30] latitude, especially around the equator.

      Henry P,

Why do you think China and others are doing a Land Grab?
Land Grab? The Race for the World’s Farmland
“The world is experiencing a grain rush. With increasing frequency, food-importing countries and private investors are acquiring farmland across the developing world. This new publication marks one of the first efforts in the United States to bring together perspectives from international organizations, farmers, and investors alike about a trend often referred to as a new phase of the world food crisis….”

Amid Federal Land Grab in Brazil, Whole Towns Evicted at Gunpoint: Federal Brazilian police and military personnel, some wearing United Nations insignia, are forcibly relocating whole communities in Brazil at gunpoint

citizens opposed to being stripped of their property and homes have been doing everything in their power to stop the assault — setting up road blocks, battling heavily armed federal forces with stones, sticks, and Molotov cocktails, torching government trucks, protesting, and refusing to leave. Others cried as they tore down their own simple houses under armed guard.

Reporters on the scene and even federal lawmakers suspect bloodshed may be near. The government, however, has vowed to expel the communities at any cost, threatening those who refuse to comply with criminal charges and even confiscation of what little remains of their personal property. Rubber bullets, tear gas, and threats of real bullets and prosecution have all been employed to forcibly remove the locals, whom the government continues to dehumanize as “invaders” and “intruders.”

Critics and local residents have accused the government of Brazil of mass corruption, saying the end goal is to smash private property ownership and all potential resistance — starting with the rural population. They argue, among other points, that federal authorities are doing the bidding of foreign interests and are in cahoots with the UN, massive international corporations, Western-based non-governmental organizations like Greenpeace, and other interests.

This is just one more case among many. The policy of Brazil’s leftist government is to dismantle the country…..

Alabama Fights a UN Land Grab

…That is, until you wake up and half of your yard is no longer your own. That crazy, conspiracy theory-sounding idea almost became a reality for Alabama-native, Rose Shannon, when the National Forest Service attempted to rezone some of the residential land on her 452 acres, making it state property. Shannon, the Executive Director of Citizens for Protecting Constitutional Rights, fought the restrictions, followed it to Washington, and won her case.

“They could rezone my property however they wanted (if Agenda 21 took over Alabama),” Shannon said, in a phone interview with Townhall. “They could zone my property as residential or commercial, they could make the same land worth more or less…There are so many different scenarios.”

Funnily enough, the U.S.S.R. Constitution did that too. Chapter 2, which promulgates the importance of common property to improve “purity of air and water”, “plant and animal kingdoms”, and “improve the human environment”, is ironically entitled “The Economic System.” Even the Soviets openly admitted that their “environmental concerns” were purely means to an end of state wealth after taking over private land.

If you, like the UN, haven’t picked up a history book lately, don’t let me spoil that ending.

Hopefully other states can mirror Alabama’s determined nature in passing their Anti- Agenda 21 legislation…..

      And back to Africa

…The Chinese Government and individually motivated Chinese farmers have bought and own land in several African countries due to the long history of Chinese presence in the African agricultural sector, which dates back to the 1960s. These days, China has also been linked to long-term land leasing in Africa, and although these sources are not always verified, it is worth examining Chinese interests in African agriculture. Presently, China’s arable lands have become scarce, while its consumption of agricultural goods has seen stunning growth.(5) Since 2003, China has been a net importer of agricultural goods, and it has been suggested that in the future, China may have to invest in foreign countries – Africa in particular – to feed its population.(6) On their own part, African Governments have encouraged the growing interests of Chinese companies and have promoted the sharing of knowledge and skills between Chinese and local farmers.

This paper will, therefore, examine Chinese interests in the African agricultural sector and the African response to this interest. It will also analyse the accusations of ‘land grabbing’ levelled at China by some sources….

        I am not sure,
Are you saying that all or most governments of the world are aware of the natural climate change that is coming?
I think the biggest problem are the droughts coming to the Great Plains.
The Dust Bowl drought 1932-1939 was one of the worst environmental disasters of the Twentieth Century anywhere in the world. Three million people left their farms on the Great Plains during the drought and half a million migrated to other states, almost all to the West. http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/res/div/ocp/drought/dust_storms.shtml

    • Henry P says:

      thanks for that info
      – because never mind the fact that there is no AGW –
it means that the Paris talks are going to fail
because I think China will side with Russia
and without China, any deal is a waste of time….

but, as usual, it provides all policymakers from all over the world an opportunity to see Paris on a “free” holiday which added a whole lot more COI2 to the world
      \
      which makes me happy
      because more CO2 is better….

      lol

    • omanuel says:

Thanks, Eliza. It is intriguing that Putin himself denies AGW, the most recent in a 70-year series of false, lock-step, consensus standard models of the nucleus, the Sun, the cosmos, and Earth’s climate after the UN was established on 24 Oct 1945.

  4. eliza says:

At this rate AGW is definitely dying me thinks. Its time US congress sent FBI agents to get all climate records from NOAA and NASA

A list of all the people responsible for this fraud needs to drawn up. They should just be fired or retired or inactivated or given other duties such as simply doing the daily weather. I do not condone jail time for any of them as they probably thought they were doing it for the “good of the earth”. It happens all the time… same as with Karl Marx, socialism they all though they were 100% correct etc LOL

    • rah says:

That ain’t gonna happen. All we can do is try to stem the tide and minimize the damage they are trying to do. In the end, what this is really all about is freedom. What is at stake is self determination.
