Representative Johnson is not only worried about Guam tipping over, but is also quite concerned that 0.0001 mole fraction of Mann-made CO2 will destroy the planet.

Whew! We’ve dodged that bullet, at least thus far.

  2. EW3 says:

Was just reading that Thomas Jefferson knew 18 languages(English,Greek,Latin,French,Italian,Spanish and 12 native American dialects).

And now we have mental midgets like this running the show.

    • mjc says:

Seems like Jefferson was the front-runner there with claiming fluency (read/write) in those 6. He seems to have also studied several others, without claiming fluency.

13 out of the first 21 Presidents spoke more than one language, compared to only 7 out of all the rest of them…with 3 of those being ‘conversational’ only.

I guess you can add O to the list…if double-speak and lawyerese are considered official languages.

  3. stewart pid says:

How about a national day of tipping on Guam … folks could tip a few cold ones, go cow tipping and then all head to one side of the island for the grand finale and tip the whole freakin’ island over … what spectacle!!

  4. Pathway says:

But Jefferson owned slaves so anything he did was illegitiment.

  5. philjourdan says:

Guam was never tipping over – Hank was just falling over.

  6. Cornelius says:

I remember an article released after the “Guam tipping” fiasco, where Hank’s office claimed he was on some heavy prescription drugs at the time. Then they rethought the issue, and realized that a Congressman completely doped out on serious drugs wasn’t such a good story when it came to casting votes (or anything else for that matter). So at that point they started claiming that it was dead-pan humor, and that we’re all a bunch of fools for taking him seriously. Well, they’ve got one thing right, I definitely don’t take him seriously.

At about 1:15 PM CDT blogger A. Watts’ name is mentioned …

  11. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Well they are acting on the issue of climate change. They are acting like it is important. What’s more they have lots of Hollywood actors helping them.

As the world cools these people will look even more like complete nutters. Including Mr Chief Nutter in the WH.

    • Gail Combs says:

Bruce DON’T use the words ‘Climate Change’ keep holding their feet to the fire and continue using ;Global warming or “Gore-Bull Worming”

You do not want to let them morph the game into something else.

  12. Clearly, some people won’t be happy until something tips or sinks Guam. A few years ago some folks thought a proposed aircraft carrier pier complex would do the trick.

This guy has a drivers license. Amazing.
