I heard the most incredible interview with Dinesh D’Souza today, by a criminally dishonest progressive on C-SPAN radio. She wouldn’t let him speak, and mis-characterized the movie at every possible opportunity, starting with a claim that it was very one-sided.
In fact, the movie was the exact opposite. The first half hour was sympathetic interviews with Chomsky, Churchill and others. D’Souza let them present their complaint in their own words, unedited, and did not argue with them at all. Something that would never happen in a progressive led interview.
Her attitude was that anyone who didn’t hate America was a deviant. Unbelievable.
They hate America with a passion that even the hatred of American politicians in the 40s and 50s toward communism can’t begin to match.
Our nation really is done. The election of Obama made me fear it was true. His reelection made no further doubt possible.
Isn’t New York ground zero for whacko progressive DNC liberalism?
Simon Winchester has a very good book just out that the anti-Americans will hate: “The Men Who United the States: America’s Explorers, Inventors, Eccentrics and Mavericks, and the Creation of One Nation, Indivisible.” I’ve heard him interviewed and his is very positive about the US.
When I attended a showing of the movie, America, on July 4th, the audience applauded at the end of the movie. I’ve never witnessed that before.
That’s better than the first movie. At the end people were literally weeping. I hoped it was Democrat seniors weeping at what they had done. Probably not.
It’s an excellent documentary. I gave it my recommendation.
I wasn’t alone, during the movie, in weeping for my country.
I mostly just don’t believe them.
Not believing known liars makes you a conspiracy theorist.

We really must get over the surprise when Politically Correct Progressives practice their belief system.
Crying “hypocrite,” or wondering “how can they hate America like that?” is a complete waste of time.
PC-Progressives’ belief system is based on their creed: “Traditional-America is a racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, imperialist, capitalist hell-hole. And it must be changed.”
Once you realize that is what they believe, countering or dealing with them becomes much easier.
This struggle with reality (you finish your observations with, “Unbelievable!”) is not productive.
Believe it! They hate us. They hate you. They hate the red, white and blue, and everything it stands for.
PC-Progs believe that flooding the country with illiterate Central Americans will annihilate the putrid straight white male Traditional-American culture.
Believe it. Once we all understand that, we can begin to counter-act them.
Until then, we’re just standing around in disbelief as our country dissolves.

When all the wealth-creation skipped the country with the blessings of the progressives, the die was cast. They considered it out-sourcing the pollution. The corporate owners considered it a great way to avoid the punitive US taxes. The result is the progressives no longer have a viable tax-base to fund their utopia. Hence the scramble for all the new ways to rob the public….
It will get much, much worse before it gets better.
you obviously haven’t watched Bill O’Reilly’s no spin zone. My last interpretation was that he meant 100% spin zone, and only he gets to talk.
The thing that the marxist don’t seem to comprehend is that we has all the guns and if need be are willing to use them.
I saw the movie yesterday evening. Tasteful, respectful of the opposite side, and shot down some of the indictments liberals make against America.
During his interviews, D’Souza let the other person speak, not interrupting, and saved voicing his opinion for later.
Good production values too.

Marxists, leftists, progressives, whatever u call them began the takeover of the education system in the early 1900’s. By the 1930’s much of the higher, graduate, level educators had been converted and were redefining the educational material for the elementary level education. By the 1950’s the next generation of citizenry allowed the unionization of primary educators which eliminated the possibility that teachers could be dismissed for views or teaching “things” considered objectionable by parents and administrators.
This began the period, which continues ever stronger to this day, of the “indoctrination” of young impressionable students to whatever the viewpoints/ opinions of the educators are. And the predinsnt viewpoint was set forth by Charles Dewey at the turn of the 20th century to be toward “collectivism” (socialism) and away from “individualism” (capitalism).
So it should come as no surprise that most young people, especially those employed by “the media” behave like absolute Marxists. It’s very sad; they should only know the experiences of people like Dinesh and other immigrants to comprehend how truly great the ORIGINAL, CONSTITUTIONAL, sustem (despite the 20th century’s liberal/progressive perversions) we all enjoy is.
