Top stories in today’s New York Times.

Man-made climate change happens. Man-made climate change kills a lot of people. It’s going to kill a lot more. We have laws on the books to punish anyone whose lies contribute to people’s deaths. It’s time to punish the climate-change liars.

      • Gail Combs says:

GEE, does that mean we can throw all those scientists and politicians in jail for killing the people in the UK via fuel poverty?

Bring them up on premeditated murder charges?

They have already condemned themselves by their own words:
        >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
”My three goals would be to reduce human population to about 100 million worldwide, destroy the industrial infrastructure and see wilderness, with its full complement of species, returning throughout the world.” — David Foreman, co-founder of Earth First!

“A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.” – Ted Turner, founder of CNN and the UN Foundation

“We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.” – Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation

“It is a campaign not for abundance but for austerity. It is a campaign not for more freedom but for less. Strangest of all, it is a campaign not just against other people, but against ourselves.” — George Monbiot, UK Ecojournalist

“Giving society cheap, abundant energy would be the equivalent of giving an idiot child a machine gun.” — Paul Ehrlich, professor, Stanford University

”The prospect of cheap fusion energy is the worst thing that could happen to the planet.” — Jeremy Rifkin, Greenhouse Crisis Foundation

“The Earth has cancer and the cancer is Man.” — Club of Rome

“In the United States, the cap-and-trade is an approach designed to control carbon emissions and will impose huge costs upon American citizens via a carbon tax on all goods and services produced in the United States. The average family of four can expect to pay an additional $1700, or £1,043, more each year. It is predicted that the United States will lose more than 2 million jobs each year as the result of cap-and-trade schemes.” -The European Foundation, Dec 15, 2009

“The models are convenient fictions that provide something very useful.” – Dr David Frame, climate modeler, Oxford University

”We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination… So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts… Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.” — Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, Lead author of many IPCC reports

”Unless we announce disasters no one will listen.” Sir John Houghton,
        First chairman of the IPCC

”It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.” — Paul Watson, Co-founder of Greenpeace

        • EricStoner says:

The first two hit the nail on the head; population reduction. I guess, like in some si-fi movie, the chosen 100,000 will live in paradise. Now, just the elimination of 99.9% of the heard is all that stands in the way?

Thoughts like that used to be the stuff of science fiction or some thriller where these ambitions were embraced by the evil genius but today…..????

        • gallopingcamel says:

  2. Andy DC says:

I am sorry, I cannot relate to or sympathize with anyone that cuts off their dick.

  3. Mac says:

One of my favorite things in the whole world, which provides me with endless hours of side-splitting giggling, is the leftist obsession with all things gay and transsexual. The leftists absolutely love gayness for some bizarre reason, and it’s genuinely absurd at this point the way they carp about homosexuality endlessly. Only 3% of the population is gay or “transgendered” according the recent CDC survey of 30,000 Americans, yet if you did nothing but listen to the leftist news media, you’d think homosexuals comprise 50% of the population. To the silly and politically correct lefties, anyone who is gay is automatically “brave”. I cannot figure out the connection. Suffering from a psychosexual emotional disorder makes a person brave? And, Chris Kyle is a criminal, of course.

Leftists are such a destructive and regressive force in our society. They’re trying to ruin the world. They like to shout things like “flat Earther!” and such, but the fact is, I’ve never ever met a lefty who even knows how change the oil in his Prius, or hook up a pair of stereo speakers. They’re all mentally ill, and nothing but a bunch of thugs and liars.

    • gator69 says:

The aim of leftists is to destroy Judeo-Christian values, and the family unit. So anything “counter culture” is embraced by the left.

      • Mac says:

Yeah, I agree. It’s sort of perverse and funny how traditional religion is totally gross to leftists, yet they’re completely comfortable worshipping at The First Church of Climate Change. Climate change is nothing but religion, not science, and “scientists” themselves are now nothing but tribal medicine men pounding the animal skin drums and chanting for the faithful.

      • Gail Combs says:

“To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family, tradition, national patriotism and religious dogmas

…”The re-interpretation and eventually eradication of the concept of right and wrong which has been the basis of child training, the substitution of intelligent and rational thinking for faith in the certainties of old people, these are the belated objectives of practically all effective psychotherapy.” — Brock Chisholm, first Director General of the World Health Organisation

        • Gail Combs says:

          I agree with the judge.

My cousins were badly screwed up in their behavior patterns because they had very bad mother/father role models. My aunt was always putting my uncle down and demeaning him so my male cousin grew up very effeminate and my female cousin grew up ‘masculine/domineering’ This despite both being straight and interested in the opposite sex. Neither did well in relationships as a result.

I think there is enough gender confusion going on without adding to it. Of course gender confusion and messing up the family structure is what the whole situation is about in the first place.

I keep thinking of the comment made to my husband by a gay many years ago. The guy said, “How are we going to MAKE more gays if we don’t grab the boys young before they are sure of their sexual orientation?”

    • Neal S says:

Those who desire control over other people, may be much more inclined to seek political office. For the rest of us, perhaps the only reason to seek office, is to protect ourselves from others who seek to control us. It seems there is a strong correlation between being leftist and seeking control over others. I suppose too too often, those who are not leftist and want nothing more than to be left to our own devices and no inclination to control others, have through inaction allowed leftists to come to power. As distasteful as we may find it individually, if we hope to retain what is left of our freedoms, more of us non-leftists must seek political power and office. I suspect there are a lot of us who would gladly support non-leftists, while at the same time not wanting to make a go of it ourselves.

“I can’t go to UDT-SEAL reunions anymore because that was the place I always felt safe, and who will be next to throw me under the bus?” Ventura said Tuesday. “I’d have to spend my time looking over my shoulder.”

He deserves to look over his shoulder. Taking money from the widow of a man that has been shot after wining the lawsuit after the guy is dead… such a brave brave thing to do.

COLMES: But are you comparing what the Nazi mission was versus what our mission is in war as a country?

VENTURA: Well what I’m stating is we invaded Iraq, we were not asked in. We invaded a country, we overthrew its government, and then we killed people that lived there.

COLMES: Are we analogous to the Nazis?

VENTURA: Well, and the Communists, yeah.

    **********

VENTURA: Our people right now are behaving just like the people did in Germany in the ’30s. We’re behaving the same way.

    COLMES: In what way?

VENTURA: We’re ostracizing certain races and certain religions. We’re doing all the things in the ’30s. We’re allowing the police state to take control of our country. We’re allowing our cops to walk around looking like stormtroopers. C’mon, am I blind?

Oh and from the comments it would seem Ventura was NOT a Seal and never saw action.

    • You don’t know what it’s like out there. The pink feather boas. The craft services. The directors. The key grips. The Lutherans with their cheesy potato mac cassarole in the statehouse. Every last one of them a potential gook who could turn around & kill you without a moment’s thought.

There is a special place in hell for those in the medical profession who perpetrate this “sex reassignment” garbage. DNA says he is still a he.

The scientists are now trying to say gay men are that way because of genetics. I had a long argument on the subject several years ago.

Now that I know that scientific fraud is so prevalent esp. in the USA it certainly makes me wonder about those ‘studies’ At that time it was supposedly linked to a excessive ‘mothering’ trait in females.

    • gofer says:

According to the psychiatrist that treated gays for 40 years, they share common experiences in younger years of one overbearing parent and absent fathers in the case of men and/or sexual abuse by an older person. A transgendered woman told the story of how she wanted to be male so her mother would love her since her brothers got all the attention. Another said his obsession started when his grandmother started putting dresses on him.

For whatever reason Jenner wants to do away with Bruce Jenner. He once was everywhere on tv, a real celebrity and now is a shell of his former self. He is escaping his demons and needs serious help. Medicare now pays for the surgery. Can’t get them to pay for false teeth but if I wanted false genitalia or boobs, that is covered. Insanity is now normal.

A Kentucky couple w/children have genders reversed. Mother is actually a man and the father a woman and they look the parts but still have their gentials. I can’t imagine the shock and confusion of kids learning who their parents are genderwise.

  10. An Inquirer says:

I have not seen “American Sniper” but what the Times describes as insane behavior — “drop them drawers” — reminds me a scene from “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” where Paul Newman holds a gun on a woman and demands that she undress. Everyone thought it was hilarious when it turned out that the woman was Paul’s woman! I wonder if the Times criticized Robert Redford and Paul Newman??
