Odd. All of their solutions start with stealing my money at gunpoint.

  2. Andy DC says:

Every idiot knows that hurricanes do better in cold than they do during heat. It is settled science! Just as snow does far better when it is hot rather than cold. Even if we are too stupid to understand that, for leading climate scientists it is a snap!

  3. tabnumlock says:

Classic global warming theory says fewer violent storms with warming because the polar/tropical heat differential is reduced. But they haven’t mentioned it lately. The one thing they got right.

” the polar/tropical heat differential is reduced”

    Evidence?

  5. Gail Combs says:

According to the ClimAstrologists the poles will warm faster than anywhere else. Since the Arctic temperature has been below normal all summer for the last two years and the Antarctic sea Ice has been at record highs, by their theory the planet is cooling. {:>D

Cyclone Pam was rated as Category 5. I see lots of photos of damage to fairly flimsy buildings, but in all of these photos, there is still plenty of foliage left on many of the trees and palms.
Cyclone Tracy which hit Darwin, Australia on Christmas Day, 1974 was rated as Category 4. Check out this photo of the damage in Darwin to arguably better constructed homes. Also look at the trees in the background. Stripped bare. Makes you wonder… is somebody homogenising the measured windspeeds to achieve a higher Category rating?
