Arctic Sea Ice Continues To Track 2006

For the past two years, Arctic sea ice has been tracking closely to 2006, which had the highest summer minimum of the past 11 years.

There has been a huge increase in older/thicker ice over the past four years

    Did you also include Great Lakes Ice and the harbor ice down to Virginia?

    As nielszoo inferred, why is 2015 as low as it is shown? With the “polar vortex” it would seem that there should be higher readings. Is the Pacific warming being drawn northward affecting the area size?
