  1. “Possibly the world’s stupidest human.”
What about all those people who voted for him. Remember, “Who’s the more foolish, the fool, or the fool who follows him?” ~ Obi Wan Kenobi

    • phodges says:

My first thought. Obama is just a salesman. But the multitudes who believe anything he says, that’s another story. And that also goes for Bush, Romney, or any other sad sack of shit and the people voting for them. They all work for the same folks, and it ain’t you and me.

  2. DD More says:

Resident Obama, you do know that when CNN wrote –

Let’s first look at what Gruber actually said: He was defending the fact that the law was written behind closed doors and he said Democrats intentionally made the law confusing to mask the fact that the law instituted a new tax to pay for health reform. Why’d the Democrats do this? Voters don’t like new taxes. Gruber said it was more important to get health reform than to be up front. “It’s a very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of economic understanding of the American voter,” Gruber said at the Honors Colloquium 2012 at the University of Rhode Island. And: “They proposed it and that passed, because the American people are too stupid to understand the difference,” he said at

Washington University at St. Louis in 2013.

    they where talking about you.

    • NancyG says:

Sounds like taxation without representation to me. The majority of Americans didn’t want the ACA, still don’t. Either the Republicans are the same as democrats or they’re more worried about not being re-elected than doing what the people want. I’m seriously concerned that there will be another American Revolution, but this time against King DC.

  3. nielszoo says:

To quote Bugs Bunny, “What a maroon.”

  4. docfjs says:

Probably one of the dumbest to graduate from Harvard. We still have not seen his college records, Obama’s presidency is the rotten fruit of affirmative action.
What is scariest is that Obama really thinks he is the “smartest guy in the room”.

    • SxyxS says:

g w bush graduated there too,
      therefore he can’t be dumbest
(though i still have to figure out wether harvard is(or became) an elite school for the mentally challenged,
as skills seem not to be required(no positive skills at least))

      • DD More says:

I see your BDS is still active.
Bush graduated from Yale, same a Kerry & with higher grades than Kerry.
It was the Kennedy clan that all graduated from Harvard, so no proof that it is not an elite school for the mentally challenged or identification of any skill set. (well maybe drug and alcohol use).
        You a graduate from there?

      • Stephen Fisher says:

The Air Force doesn’t let “dumb” people solo pilot 20 million dollar jets. Bush was not glib in public. Has anyone out there had enough yet of the glib solons now ruling?

      • JJ says:

        g w graduated from Yale

    • Jason Calley says:

      Gentlemen! Gentlemen!

Must we have this partisan bickering? Can’t we just agree that none of the recent crop in power have really represented the best that this nation can offer?

      🙂

      • Gail Combs says:

        NO!
        I disagree!

None who have been in office for the last HUNDRED YEARS have really represented the best that this nation with a few exceptions like Congressman McFadden.

      • Winnipeg Boy says:

I am not even American, but at least Bush had a set. Bibi’s speach shows what a real leader looks like. Obama is probably not dumb, he is just wrong and cowardly. Bush was wrong and brave.

      • Stephen Fisher says:

I am not affiliated with any political party, and do agree with your last sentence,Jason(and your response Gail)…but I am tired of non sequiturs, fabrications, outright lies and ad hominem attacks polluting attempts at honest discourse.

  5. omanuel says:

Earth’s climate is controlled by a variable star – the Sun [1] – not by CO2 There would have been no Climategate in 2009, no AGW debate since then if

    1. The US DOE had been honest about nuclear energy stored as mass in heavy atoms, and
    2. NASA had not hidden, manipulated or ignored reliable isotope data from the 1969 Apollo mission to the Moon and the 1995 Galileo probe of Jupiter.

This CSPAN news video [2] shows the NASA Administrator finally releasing Jupiter data in 1998.

    • omanuel says:

The 2009 Climategate emails and the AGW debate since then are the result of falsehoods introduced in 1946-49 into the foundations of nuclear and solar physics. Those falsehoods were designed to hide public knowledge of the energy that destroyed Hiroshima.

Federal research agencies may have been involved in changing textbooks, as Joe McCarthy suspected before the deception was identified.

      1. Nuclear physics textbooks replaced Aston’s valid concept of “nuclear packing fraction” with von Weizsacker’s deceptive “nuclear binding energy” and

      2. Astronomy and solar physics texts changed the internal composition of ordinary stars from
_ a.) Mostly iron (Fe) in 1945 to
      _ b.) Mostly hydrogen (H) in 1946

As noted in the above paper on “Solar energy,” both changes were wrong and left society unable to understand why Earth’s climate changes.

  6. Antonio says:

As Reagan said (and paraphrasing), it’s not that he is stupid, it’s that he knows so many things that are simply not so.

  7. 1957chev says:

Obama knows that the nonsense he spews is not true, but that doesn’t stop him from insisting that everyone else believes it! Fear itself, is what Obama counts on, to extort money, to further his own agenda. I wouldn’t believe a word he said!

  8. Gary H says:

President Obama, March 2nd 2015: We can’t afford not to act. Disasters linked to [man-made] climate change have already cost us hundreds of billions of dollars.

Wow – By and large the consensus of climate scientists is that they can’t put a human footprint on much of any extreme weather event, to date, but Pres Obama can. Yikes.

Oh, I know what he means ~ Governments are spending [wasting] hundreds of billions of dollars trying to fabricate the science and to convince us of ACC.

    • David A says:

This is exactly why they went after Pileke. His papers strongly proved no increase n natural disasters.

      • Gary H says:

Exactly – Pielke found this in Obama’s most recent National Climate Assessment:

“There has been no universal trend in the overall extent of drought across the continental U.S. since 1900?

“Other trends in severe storms, including the intensity & frequency of tornadoes, hail, and damaging
        thunderstorm winds, are uncertain”

“lack of any clear trend in landfall frequency along the U.S. eastern and Gulf coasts”

“when averaging over the entire contiguous U.S., there is no overall trend in flood magnitudes”

In summary, the IPCC adds even more ammunition to the lack of empirical evidence that there have been any long term worsening trends in extreme weather events, globally.

I propose that the ‘skeptical” side should spend more effort in laying out this case, as it is a direct rebuttal to most of the shrill fear mongering being offered up by the Obama administration and the nuts in the national main stream media.

  9. D. Self says:

    Stupid and Greedy

  10. JeffK says:

Regardless of the merits of AGW, the fact is the same secular globalists who claim they believe it are doing things that’ll only worsen CO2 emissions. Why on Earth won’t the lazy media investigate that, connect dots and use logic? Paving over Africa and S. America like the same folks did to Asia??

  11. Mike D says:

Disasters related to bad election results cost “us” hundreds of billions of dollars, just from his first couple months in office.

Now he’ll saddle us with trillions of dollars of economic cost through taxes and regulations over years to try to fight global climate change, while the fastest growing parts of the world are unconstrained. It is a high school level idea. No grasp of scale issues, and ignorance of much of the reality of the world.

  12. PeterK says:

Not being an American and only paying some attention to American politicians, this guy is considered a lame duck president as I understand it. So why does he keep at this nonsense? What will he gain from it? Surely trying to create a legacy on BS is no legacy at all…or is he really that stupid? Or is there something I don’t understand to all of this?

    • Gail Combs says:

Obummer is hoping for top slot in the United Nations. He is willing to sell out the USA to get it.

      Obama’s Bid For U.N. Secretary-General Has Begun

It is commonly observed that President Obama never started governing because he never stopped campaigning. He campaigned in his West Point speech all right — for United Nations secretary-general.

We’ve got a president who has unblushingly told us he’s “a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,” knows “more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors” and is “a better political director than my political director.”

Not to mention that “like any politician at this level, I’ve got a healthy ego.” Uh, no kidding.

An intellect that enormous must feel confined by merely leading the free world (or, more accurately, not leading). Such boundless cerebral prowess deserves a real challenge, such as running the whole world.

The president obviously agrees; his address to cadets at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on Wednesday sounded much like the launch of a campaign for still-higher office: presiding over the hopelessly corrupt, tyrant-dominated United Nations.

After briefly giving lip service to the U.S. using “military force, unilaterally if necessary, when our core interests demand it,” Obama quickly placed America under the U.N. umbrella….

The Nobel Peace Prize Committee gave Obama its award on spec, less than nine months after his inauguration in 2009, to promote “multilateral diplomacy” and an “emphasis on the role that the United Nations and other international institutions can play.”

Now the U.N., acting similarly, can make him “president of the world.” Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s term expires in early 2017. If Obama were his successor, the U.S., even under a Republican administration, might not veto an ex-U.S. president in the Security Council.

Who would the U.N. like better as secretary-general than an American who wants the world’s lone superpower placed firmly under the rules made by the U.N. General Assembly, the vast majority of whose members are undemocratic and pine for redistributed U.S. wealth?

A secretary-general who can get the U.S. to accept U.N. rule.

      • PeterK says:

Gail: Thank you for your comment. So in essence, he thinks he will be Obama the 1st, Ruler of Earth and all that there is within it. Wow! Do you think he will get his wish to be SG of the UN? Mr supreme stupid leading the mass of stupids called the United Nations.

      • Jason Calley says:

Wow! Interesting article. I have been puzzled for years now as to why Bill Clinton was not moved into a high slot at the UN. There were rumors of such a move just before he left the White House, but it never materialized.

    • DavidS says:

Being a lame duck also means that you will not have to face another election and are thus in a position to push agendas relentlessly. He follows orders and as long as he does that, he will be rewarded by those he answers to. Perhaps a high position at the UN will be part of that. It would match his lifestyle preferences.

  13. iurockhead says:

    Probably?

  14. mogur2013 says:

Is this a real science site, or simply an echo chamber for progressive hating? When you mix politics and science, you get this site. Despite your hatred for science and progressives, there is an alternative to political bashing. Pay attention to the truth. It will set you free.

  15. pinroot says:

Organizing for Action’s ‘denier’ site is sort of scary. They’ve got a listing of about 170 politicians, nothing but politicians, and you can “Call them Out!”, each and every one if you like. Click one and you’re taken to a page for that person, explaining how climate change will directly impact his or her state or locality and how it will be all his or her fault. From there, you can send a whiny tweet that’s supposed to embarass them into changing their denier ways, as well as find more deniers like them.

I didn’t check party affiliation, but I’d bet that every one of them is a Republican.

  16. Don says:

Stupid, perhaps. But the evil that propped this man up to even becoming a United States Senator, let alone POTUS, is the problem. He was, make no mistake about it, chosen long ago by those men. That is why he declared in 2008 “we are the one”. Without such men behind this clown he wouldn’t have made it beyond alderman. And they are still working behind the scenes, and if they can’t make it a Hillary vs. Jeb 2016 they will give us some other such incompetents.

  17. SMS says:

I believe most (probably all) progressives are stupid. This stupidity is based on their belief in climate fairy tales. A life where hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, snow storms, drought, cloud bursts, floods and dust storms are only seen in horror movies. Snow falls only on ski slopes and never in cities, rain never makes mud but fills the reservoirs, winds are never destructive but fill children’s kites, and the ice in the Arctic never varies in extent from year to year. Progressives live in the six sigma world of a fantasy movie. This view of the world is based on their belief that we were all living in Shangri La before C02 started to increase.

Lets get one thing straight; Obama is stupid. Most Democratic politicians are stupid. They think they know how to live your life better than you do and are willing to spend you into disastrous debt to prove they are right. When I see Nancy Pelosi stand up and make a speech, it confuses me. I have to ask myself, how can so many people be so stupid as to keep putting this woman back in office after all the silly things she has said and done? And then I hear Chuck Schumer or Harry Reid say something just as stupid. Obama makes a speech and doubles down on stupidity. How can so much of the electorate be so uninformed as to keep putting these clowns back in office?

  18. oldfossil says:

In spite of all the brainwashing and indoctrination, about a third of all Americans do not follow the Climate religion. Any president who insults a third of his citizens by calling them a deliberately offensive name is what the British would call a four-letter man.

  19. Dave N says:

The usual strawman bs from alarmists. Skeptics say nothing of the sort because cost has zero to do with it; unless of course he’s referring to the cost of human lives by removing access to cheap energy.
