Coldest March Night Ever?

We are buried in snow, everything is shut down, obliterating our record low after a 60 year decline in temperature, and may have our coldest March night on record tonight.

A little cold here in central Indiana but the snow passed just south of us. It is past time for some of that Global warming to come our way I would say. I think mother nature has made her point.

I can’t believe I haven’t been called to go out someplace with conditions like you have now. I was given a warning order to drive down through the winter wonderland that KY is right now to Shelbyville, TN earlier today and then they found a regular driver looking for a load. So it goes being on call.

    Stay warm, Steve/Tony –

Just because you lived in a temperature doesn’t mean there won’t be a darned-good reason to “adjust history” in the future.

Facts of the past are just raw material for the Progressives of the future – building blocks of little fictions that support statist propoganda of glorious government-controlled existence

It’s nice and balmy 100 miles south. I’m sure by April snow will be a thing of the past.

“..It’s nice and balmy 100 miles south….” Are you kidding?

I am three hundred miles south of Tony and it is 25.9 °F @ 8:00am

Not a minimum temperature record breaker (11 °F) but certainly below average (37 °F.)

      • Bob Greene says:

It’s all a matter of perspective. It’s 16°F and going to 32° in Richmond and we only got an inch or so snow accumulation. I lived in SW Michigan for 20 years. My kids are seeing about 0°F going to maybe 20°F and that’s a bit of a warming trend. Two of my State College roommates were cold and snow experts because they were from way up north (Henderson, NC), now one of them is bundled up because of the cold 53°F in New Orleans.

In the extreme climate caused by CAGW you must expect “coldest ever” records to fall.
In fact, if all goes according to projections eventually every day will be a “coldest day” ever.
This will be definitive proof of CAGW,
Except of course in Australia where it will always be the “hottest ever” day.

Our coldest March night ever would have to beat 4F (at BWI) which was just set last year….3/4/14.
Coldest March temp ever recorded. Previous was 5F in 1873.

    • exNOAAman says:

Looks like BWI came in at 6F; Andrews AFB 7F; Dulles 2F
Too much wind floating around to get cold…Frederick, Hagerstown, and other cold spots staying in the double digits. Others OTOH getting near 0.

Still, it’s a new daily record; (second in a row); and maybe the second coldest March morning.
