Union Army Was Complicit In Genocide

Before General Custer carried the Union Flag to massacre Native Americans, he was one of Abraham Lincoln’s heroes at Gettysburg and Appomattox.

On June 29, 1863 Custer was commissioned to brigadier general of volunteers and assigned to command a brigade in Kilpatrick’s division. While in this position he led his men in the Battle of Gettysburg where he assisted in preventing J.E.B. Stuart from attacking the Union rear.

As Custer’s final major act in the war he led the division responsible for cutting off Lee’s last avenue of escape at Appomattox; a week later he received the appointment, major general of volunteers.

George Armstrong Custer

The Union flag is clearly a symbol of hatred and aggression against Native Americans, and must be taken down from all statehouses which fly it.

OUCH! That is a good one but I am sure the Progressive would be very happy to run with the idea.

After all the complete annihilation of the USA is their goal. You can not build a World Wide Communist Totalitarian Government like United Nations climate chief Christiana Figueres without getting rid of the USA.

    Don’t give them any ideas!
Custer was an excellent Calvary commander. Calvary commanders have to aggressive. But his never ending quest for accolades and fame led to his and a good part of the 7th Cavs demise.

But one aspect of Custer’s last stand needs to be considered more than it is. That is the US Army and it’s seemingly ever lasting belief that it can economize on ammo by denying the individual soldier rapid fire capability in their standard issue battle rifles. The Springfield model 1873 “trap door” carbine Custers men carried was certainly not the best option for rapid fire available at the time. Then 20 odd years later the primary issue rifle was the Springfield model 1892 better known as the Krag–Jørgensen Rifle. A bolt action rifle markedly inferior in every way to the Mausers being used by the enemy. The Army tried the same kind of trick in the 1980s as the cold war wound down when it issued the M 16 A2 with three round burst capability to replace the A1 which had full automatic.

Having attended many many Hi/Byes as an officer’s wife during the Vietnam era, I know the soldier were not at all happy with the backseat driving of the Politicians. As one sergeant put it, “If they want to win the war then give us our heads and we WILL WIN the WAR!”

(I generally hung around with the sergeants at the gatherings because they talked of cars and hunting dogs instead of diapers and dishes.)

      • They we’re talking only about cars and hunting dogs because you were hanging around.

        • Gail Combs says:

Given some of their wives, they had better be only talking cars and hunting dogs! (There was also a bunch talking caving and organizing the next trip.)

We talked shop more than anything else at our Team Parties. That is when we weren’t half jokingly knocking each other for our individual perceived weaknesses or screw ups. On a really good team and in fact in any great small unit IMO that is the way it is. You can pile on one of your team mates for screwing up or for a weakness and it is not taken an insult but as a kind of critique and makes the individual subjected to it work that much harder to correct his deficiencies. It works wonders when there is already a good foundation of mutual respect between the core members of the team. And the leaders, be they officers or enlisted, are not immune either.

This is a highly collectible beer tray, as not many remain, and the subject is unique. The Standard Brewing Co considered this scene something to celebrate, a national symbol of justice and triumph. What flag is flying over this scene?

    Blaming flags is insane.

“Blaming flags is insane.” WTF !!
America has an appalling record of killing people, as do most other countrys, usually in ‘defense’ of a piece of rag on a stick.
Instead of Blaming flags maybe we should be Burning flags plus all the religious books that make people believe their tribe is gods chosen one & all other people are expendable.

      • gator69 says:

Yes, because if we get rid of flags and books, everyone will get along just fine. It is those evil books and flags that pull triggers, and hate.

The 20th century total of citizens killed by their own government = 262,000,000 people “… tortured or beaten to death, hung, shot, and buried alive, burned or starved to death, stabbed or chopped into pieces, and murdered in all the other ways creative and imaginative human beings can devise, I have never been so happy to conclude a project. I have not found it easy to read time and time again about the horrors innocent people have been forced to suffer. What has kept me at this was the belief, as preliminary research seemed to suggest, that there was a positive solution to all this killing and a clear course of political action and policy to end it. And the results verify this. The problem is Power. The solution is democracy. The course of action is to foster freedom.” – Dr R.J. Rummel

And people want to know why we want to keep our guns!

if all these people, killed by their own government were laid head to toe, with the average height being 5′, then they would circle the earth ten times.

Do you really know everything your phone is tracking on you?

Your mobile phone already knows where it is, how you’re holding it, what you’re saying to it and how fast you’re moving.

Yet with significant improvements in mobile sensor technology just around the corner, this is only the beginning chapter in the era of self-aware devices and continuous data logging. There’s much more to come.

We’re now used to phones and tablets recognising when they’re being held upside down and flipping the screen accordingly, but even this kind of technology is a relatively new innovation that has only become commonplace in the last four or five years….

And remember the Cash for Clunkers Program that took decent drivable older cars and sent them to the crusher? Not only did it make older cars more expensive, it made it more probable you will end up with a car with a GPS unit.

A customer of mine told me he parked his brand new car in the RDU airport parking garage only to have it not start. Turns out without a GPS signal the car shuts down.

Miss a Payment? Your Car Stops Running

Auto loans to borrowers considered subprime, those with credit scores at or below 640, have spiked in the last five years with roughly 25 percent of all new auto loans made last year subprime, a volume of $145 billion in the first three months of this year. Now the NYT reports that before they can drive off the lot, many subprime borrowers must have their car outfitted with a so-called starter interrupt device, which allows lenders to remotely disable the ignition. By simply clicking a mouse or tapping a smartphone, lenders retain the ultimate control. Borrowers must stay current with their payments, or lose access to their vehicle and a leading device maker, PassTime of Littleton, Colo., says its technology has reduced late payments to roughly 7 percent from nearly 29 percent. “The devices are reshaping the dynamics of auto lending by making timely payments as vital to driving a car as gasoline.”…

All you need is step three, an RFID tag implanted under the skin. Something that has already been tested.

That is a passive chip but it could possibly be teamed with a cell phone….

Aug 24, 2006—Agriculture technology company TekVet has begun taking orders for its new active RFID cattle-tracking system. The TekVet system includes health monitoring and a Web site that displays details about an individual animal’s history and health condition.

The system utilizes active 418 MHz RFID tags, sensors that monitor an animal’s internal temperature and transceivers to transmit each tag’s unique serial number, as well as the animal’s temperature, to an Internet server hosted by IBM. There, the unique serial number of that tag is linked with the animal and its health record.

…. Once an hour, the tag transmits its unique ID number and the animal’s temperature. That transmission is captured by transceivers known as TekVet SmartReceivers, also manufactured by Nationwide Electronics.

The SmartReceivers [Think your cell phone] can be attached to poles or walls of buildings on a cattle producer’s lot, offering a read range averaging 300 to 500 feet. The devices use a 900 MHz private satellite communication network to transmit tag and sensor data to an IBM-hosted data center, where information on millions of cattle worldwide can be displayed online. The Web site containing this data is accessible by producers, investors and food-safety regulators, enabling them to determine the lot where an animal is located, based on which transceiver is receiving the tag data….
