Perhaps the IRS will come audit my standard deduction next, to see if I should have gotten a larger refund had I itemized?

Be careful …. you don’t want to give them any ideas!

If you could see your commentary as other people do, you wouldn’t wonder why.

His posts are not full of lies, fraud and rabid ignorant propaganda like yours, slimo !

    • Fascists always believe in censorship and other atrocities, and always believe their fascism is justified.

Greens were hysterical when Bush told Hansen to tone done his hysteria. But they love to silence anyone who disagrees with them.,

    • Ernest Bush says:

The only way to deal with fascists such as yourself is to verbally slap them up side the head.

“It’s up to the artist to use language that can be understood, not hide it in some private code. Most of these jokers don’t even want to use language you and I know or can learn . . . they would rather sneer at us and be smug, because we ‘fail’ to see what they are driving at. If indeed they are driving at anything–obscurity is usually the refuge of incompetence.”

Andy. Don’t feed the communists. It just gives them sense of purpose.

    • AndyG55 says:

Her only purpose here is to find someone to talk to, poor, attention-seeking ditz that she is.

Seems impolite not to respond to the poor ignorant trailer trash.

  5. sully says:

However. You do it so well.

  6. darwin says:

Mind boggling how progressive drones like Hope actually believe they must silence any and all opposition.

Only people who fear the truth must censor.

Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev, Castro, Mao, Pol Pot, Chavez, Ortega, and other assorted tyrants and dictators have silenced any and all criticism. Obama, his administration and all his little sycophants like Hope can be added to the list.

Here is a monument to a man who was also silenced…

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elijah_P._Lovejoy_Monument#/media/File:Lovejoy_spire.jpg

Elijah P. Lovejoy was an abolitionist in the 1830s, running a newspaper called the St Louis Observer, in Missouri, a slave state. Slavery advocates attacked and destroyed his presses a number of times, driving him to move across the river to Alton, IL in 1837, where he renamed it the Alton Observer. Although Illinois was a free state, in November 1837, his presses were attacked for what would have been the fourth time. He and some supporters were in the warehouse where they were stored, and as the building was stormed, the attackers apparently began firing guns. Lovejoy and his men returned fire, but in the conflict Lovejoy was killed.[1]

His death garnered national attention, and was viewed by abolitionists and others as a tragic martyrdom in the cause of both freedom of speech and the abolition of slavery. Abraham Lincoln is quoted as saying:

Lovejoy’s tragic death for freedom in every sense marked his sad ending as the most important single event that ever happened in the new world
    – Abraham Lincoln, letter to friend Lemen, in 1857

You are in great company Tony, let’s just Hope they don’t have to build a memorial to you.

    • Gail Combs says:

My Husband’s great grandfather was an abolitionist (and minister) in Illinois and part of the underground railroad. He burned all his letters and journals to protect the identity of other abolitionists. A lot of history went up in flames.

      • gator69 says:

My father’s side of the family tree has slaves. But I somehow I am able to differentiate between the owners of my ancestors, and people today. Weird, huh?

        • Jason Calley says:

Some of my ancestors owned slaves. And some of them WERE slaves. I guess I ought to hate myself. I suppose that if I DID, I would have become a “Progressive”.

      • Gail Combs says:

I just asked Hubby and I was correct. His Great Great *** Grandfather did know Elijah P. Lovejoy as I thought. He lived in the same town of Alton Illinois where Lovejoy was murdered. So you can understand why he burned his letters, papers and journals, and why I called it history going up in flames.

** I missed one of the greats.

    • emsnews says:

Now you are going to be banned. I hate this banning stuff. Everyone plays this game to some extent but watching liberals who yell about ‘free speech’ and ‘down with censorship’ is particularly ironic.

  8. gator69 says:

Hasn’t there been somewhat of a precedent set about private businesses and discrimination?

At this point, one could argue that climate realists are a persecuted minority.

Given the current maniacal desperation displayed by the “warming believers”, that status should change soon.

      • I would argue that skeptics/realists are not in the minority. The ‘believers’ are just louder and more emotional … ie. hysterical. The rest of us are just trying to live our lives.

    • Neal S says:

A very bad precedent. It is not like there were not plenty of other similar businesses which would gladly do the work that these people objected to based on their religious beliefs.

I had thought slavery in this country had been abolished by the 13th amendment. Yet the baker and photographer and flower-arranger can be forced to labor against their religious convictions in a creative way for something they do not abide with. Free speech also means no forced speech. Yet these small private business owners are being denied their first amendment rights by being forced to use their skills for things they do NOT believe are right.

I hope the story is not yet over for these small business owners, and that they will be able to find a court that will uphold their rights and freedoms.

      • Jason Calley says:

Hey Neal S! You make a great point, and one which certainly must be correct.

One small addition. You say: “I had thought slavery in this country had been abolished by the 13th amendment.”

(What follows is a bit of legal and intellectual tap-dancing. I am only half-way serious…)
Actually, slavery was never outlawed. Slavery was nationalized. PRIVATE slavery was outlawed, but slavery is still legal if it is done by the government. “”Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”. That clause “except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted” means that slavery can be imposed for refusing to do what the laws says you must. So now we have a Catch 22. If you follow the law, you cannot be forced to be a slave and do what you do not wish to do. Unfortunately, the law now says that what you must do is that very thing which you do not wish to. In other words, you can voluntarily be a slave and do what we tell you, or (if you refuse) we have the legal right to force you to do what we tell you.

        Our legal system is broken.

        • Neal S says:

Jason, I had actually thought of your ‘catch-22’ with regard to the 13th amendment, but I did not want to say anything. I don’t want to give ‘them’ any ideas.

        • Jason Calley says:

Hey Neal! Well, you might be more prudent than I am. Or wiser.

Let us not fool ourselves, however. The “Progressives”, uh, Communists, uh Collectivists, uh, oh well, you know who I am talking about, they do not have principles. By that, I mean that there are no ethical standards which they see as definitive, no enduring basis for their actions. They are opportunists and in the end, for them the law is just another tool which may be picked up or set down as utility dictates. If they can coerce people to obey them by writing laws, they will write laws. If they can gain control by flouting the law, they will disobey it. They will control you with words, with the law or with a whip and gun — whatever works. The 10:10 video was not a joke, it was a warning.
