Ice in the Beaufort Sea is 3-4 metres thick, and the Christian Science Monitor is telling their readers it is ice-free.
What is wrong with these people? How can humans that stupid find their way into the office every day?

They’re hoping that the individuals reading the articles won’t look at the actual data. You covered this in your ICCC presentation very well – people believe it because other people believe it.
When you nail your colors to the mast of arctic ice then you are just begging to be caught out. You thought you could predict future climate and like everyone else who does so you were wrong. Natural variability will make all theories look sick.

most of those guys are absolutely not able to work or compete in productive business and when they finally find a well paid job with zero responsibility they’ll do and say everything
to keep their jobs and stay in their comfort zone to avoid facing real life and please their masters+ this way they can make themselves look like gooddoers and moraly superior trying to hide their parasitic roots.Saying to your friends “i’m a climate scientist” sounds a lot better than “i’m a corrupt,lazy bludger and liar”
