That’s my best guess. I’ve been having some fun at that Topix thread since Friday, since it was started as one solely for calling Dr Craig Idso a shill of ‘big coal & oil’. I’ve become something of a specialist on how the fossil fuel industry funding accusation is baseless, so I couldn’t resist jousting with that crowd to see what kind of responses I’d get.
Near as I can tell, commenter “Denizen_Kate” grabbed the first three links out of a google search for ‘global cooling scare debunked’ without reading them. Could be she thought Steve’s “Real Science” is RealClimate, but who knows? AGW logic is quite hard to fathom sometimes.

That is because they funtion on emotion not logic or thinking. The brain is pretty much disengaged although the mouth is still flapping.
